Ecoroc, a look at ground level eco issues
rosekaremi22 July 2022
So it's not Hollywood and it is about eco issues and more importantly it's about grass roots. It's also good entertainment. So there's some issues about missing out on Hollywood quality. Enjoyable and eco stuff. This is after initial series. More to follow.

A YAWN FEST
rocksteady-0111716 July 2022
The story has been completely dragged out into what could have been a movie. For a show with only 6 episodes you expect to have each episode with a good storyline but they just contain filler and no real substance. Had to complete the show because I was expecting it would get more intriguing but it was just plain, boring and simple. Nothing worth writing home about and definitely does not deserve a second season. Surely Kenyans really need to up their game.

Legit African (Kenyan) drama

A well done series depicting a true African life experience. The village drama and scenes are very well done. The actors convincingly good.

Overall a great production.

keep an open mind
Loved loved this series for its depiction of social issues in Kenya. I enjoyed listening to a dichotomy of Kenyan languages (Kamba, Swahili and English); Nini also brings in some Chinese.

The authentic storytelling and cinematography are captivating.

Seeing Nairobi and Kambaland made me homesick.

All in all, this isn't your run-on-the-mill series; there is a lot of work that's been put into every scene, every actor/actress and storyline. Watch it with an open mind, and allow your mind to see deep into each perspective.

I loved seeing veteran and newbie actors bringing in their A-game to the series.

Rating 9/10.

A very good Kenyan production showcasing diversity in landscapes and culture as well as a good storyline...the struggles , desperation brought about by poverty and corruption.

I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT THE WHOLE TIME. Nice scripted series. This is a series with great characters and a gripping storyline. I found the storyline so intriguing - I had absolutely no idea what was going to happen next.

I beg for more episodes and seasons.

I'd really recommend this to everyone out there.

My wife and I much enjoyed this series. We particularly liked that a lot of the characters/scenes were authentic. Also the landscape is beautiful and the music great!

A true story of corrupt leadership and selfishness in Kenya. Great work guys. I would recommend this series to all Kenyans. Its high time that we wake up and fight corrupt, exploration and child labour.
