Lowlights of the #45 administration.
jvincentnix4 January 2021
I still find it hard to believe I sat through this. It isn't the worst movie of the year, but it ie a woeful experience. At times, it seems like a badly written documentary since truth is stranger than fiction. I'd probably enjoy it if I lived where weed was legal, but I couldn't get into it other than laughing at the similarities to reality.

I wasn't impressed and i'm really not a Trump follower...
Kilroy515018 December 2021
If you're looking for a movie where anti-Trump comedians and writers simply want to snipe a guy for being who he is, this is the movie for you. Honestly, i watched it and found it to be kinda tasteless. It wasn't that it didn't have funny moments, it's just that it was so obscenely OBVIOUS that it's a snipe movie that made it so bad. I would bet even money that someone from SNL was helping with the writing of this movie. Like i said, it's not that it didn't have funny parts but it's just too obvious why this movie was made and it wasn't for entertainment purposes.

Nuff said?

Wow, What Happened to Eddie Griffin?
arfdawg-129 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
By every measure, this movie is HORRIBLE.

It looks like it was made for three cents.

The writing is dismal. The acting is perhaps the worst you will ever see. And why couldnt they find a better Trump impersonator? No money, maybe.

I can't even describe how bad tis movie is. And I'm not being political. It's basically a home movie that shoudl have been thrown out.

What the hell happened to Eddie Griffin? Is this all he's offered?

It doesnt matter if you love Trump or hate him, there is no way you can give this movie a good review.

Bad Movie
bradmbucklin31 August 2021
Virtually unwatchable. Bad script, bad production values and really bad acting. I don't care what your politics are, this movie is just a pile of %#&^ that should never have seen the light of day.

opinionated propaganda nonsense, avoid
derangedxzombie24 August 2021
Truths about Biden many aren't aware of would better fit this films narrative, but would still be opinionated garbage then. It tries to palm it's drab narrative as comedy but falls far short of the mark.

If you want to waste an hour or so you'll never get back, watching this waste of movie reel.

Deeply troubling junk
pugpro2 November 2021
Hope the actors all have day jobs cause the wind has shifted and the true devil has stolen the country.

Maybe next time take out insurance for career flops and make the writer's pay for it.

Who knew orange could be fun...
paul_haakonsen10 November 2020
Granted, I must admit that I was initially expecting this 2020 satirical comedy to be utter rubbish. Why? Well, I mean a movie that portrays - albeit in a funny way - the orange leprechaun that was 4 years the head of state, well that was just not exactly the recipe for something great.

Or so I thought...

Turns out that writer and director Param Gill actually managed to put together something that was rather fun to watch, and it is actually fun to watch this satirical jabs at the orange man.

Eddie Griffin was actually rather enjoyable in this movie, portraying Satan, the man whom orchestrated the rise to power for the orange goofball. While actor Jeff Rector - playing Donald Trump - has some of the mannerisms and speech patterns down for imitating Trump, he just didn't really look the part. That was a bit of a shame, because it would have been more enjoyable if the actor actually looked more like the orange man himself. And as for Kevin Indio Copeland - portraying Vladimir Putin - well that was just a massive swing and a miss, because he looked nothing like Putin.

One thing that was missing, was the orange skin tone of Trump, actor Jeff Rector just wasn't smeared enough in orange gunk to make him stand out like the actual clown does.

"Bad President" proved to be entertaining and enjoyable enough for a single viewing, but that is also about it. The movie just doesn't have the contents to support more than a single viewing.

The release date of the movie was just good, as a satirical comedy about the orange man couldn't have come at a more appropriate time.

My rating of "Bad President" actually lands on a six out of ten stars. The movie was fun to watch, but it was hardly a comedy gem in the making. Regardless of you being a Trump devotee or not, this movie is something that should be watched, although I am sure that a lot of Trump supporters out there will find offense in a spoof such as this.

Please, wach it... it is actually a pro-Trump... Devil is in the detail!
panta-420 October 2020
I have to say that this is a pro-Trump black comedy... everything in it is so wrong, especially mixing up the name of the Satan... Luther... no Lucifer! But that is what we do these days in this messed up world, replacing names, replacing attributes, being plainly stupid and following the blinds who cannot see themselves! It is all about the deals. I do not understand how the Clintons were not sitting on the right of the Satan's throne, could be just a small mistake in the screenplay!

Bad make-up and bad acting go along with this film - adds to the badness value!

Sarcasm, black humour, satire... call it whatever you want... but it has some truth here, because the Devil is the one who is trying to show himself good... like in a real life!

Satire-peeps
Cykofiend28 November 2022
Sure it's satire but watching this after making through a trump presidency- I think this may be an embellished biography rather than satire. Sure there are some liberties taken but overall I don't think it is too far from his reality.

Genius and if you are a rational thinker then you may find something this movie funny...if you're a brainwashed Buffoon who thinks entertainment media companies like fox or cnn is real news - then you won't like this farce.

How that man was able to get elected to President is beyond me - and showing how he got elected is something this movie tried to do on a more 'Hollywood' level.

Now it all Makes sense!
koralrosecancion25 November 2023
This is really a 6/10 movie, but I figured all Trump's cult followers would super under-rate this comedy. For those of us who haven't drank the cool-aid, this was a breath of freah air a nd truly did help make more sense of the pure idiocy of the Trump. Thinking Trump sold his soul to the devil is the only thing that continues to make any sense how this pos always floats to the top.

Eddie Griffith was excellent as the devil, his acting was superb. The guy who played Trump also hit it spot on. For a comedy spoof, it had decent acting, Would love to see a version of this explaining the crazy going on with the coming election.

GREAT FILM
tenjor20 April 2022
The film is entertaining, the story does not discredit any political party, it is one of the few films that brings out the theme of how people want to live well, no matter how much power we have.

Great performances by Griffin, Amico, Dawna and Demakas.

Kudos to the director, Param Gill, who was also a screenwriter, as well as John Buchanan.

A Truth about the Trump administration
byrdboyce26 January 2024
Wonder dark humor about the Trump administration. This story had to be written or inspired by someone with close ties to Trump. A funny tale about achieving authority by the help with a cult following. A perfectly well told story based on facts with a little fiction put into the storylines. It reminds me me of a long Saturday Night Live sketch that has hit a homerun. The actors aren't going to earn a star on the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, nor an Academy Award for their performances in this theatrical motion picture, but they give good performances. I am greatful for coming across this film.
