Sex & Nudity

  • There is no nudity or even partial nudity.
  • A doctor attempts to sexually assault a nurse but she pushes him away.
  • A teen girl is implied to be having sex with her boyfriend. Nothing is shown it is only briefly spoken of.
  • A girl and boy get caught in a wardrobe imlying they did something
  • A woman and man kiss for a couple of seconds
  • A nurse puts her hand down the doctor's trousers, short scene.

Violence & Gore

  • An entity is stalking people using an app that counts down to your death; when it gets to its victims it often tosses them around before finally killing them. The violence is often shocking but not overtly graphic.

Profanity

  • Mild language is used, with the exception of one use of "fuck"
  • one use of the word raping fuck
  • A few uses of bitch throughout the film

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Teens are seen playing drinking games at a party.
  • Several instances of drug overdoses and the use of narcan to revive the overdoser.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The demonic entity attached to the app is pretty frightening in appearance and screams like a banshee every time it lunges for a victim; it also frequently poses as its former victims, but hideously deforming their bodies & faces.
  • Everytime a victim's countdown is coming close to the end, the film is very suspenseful as they try to escape it; their phones also frequently scream and make loud noises to warn the victim that death is coming.
  • The theme of fate is used to a quite frightening effect in the film as the victims' fates are sealed once the app tells them their remains time and attempting to escape it will often only result in even more gruesome consequences.
  • The way that characters are tossed around and dragged by the entity is often startling and shocking.
  • Quinn looks at Evan's dead body. He had his eyes open. Evan eyes moved and he looked at her.

Violence & Gore

  • Courtney is supernaturally yanked into the air and then dropped so that her head cracks on the edge of her bathtub.
  • Evan is thrown down several flights of stairs and busts his head on a concrete step.
  • Matt is hit by a car and pinned to a tree, killing him.
  • Quinn attacks Dr. Sullivan with a crowbar, beating him several times with it but he manages to get away.
  • Jordan is crushed between shelving but survives.
  • Quinn kills herself by overdosing on morphine but is ultimately revived.
  • In one scene Matt goes into a bathroom and while he's at a sink he's sees children's feet somehow walking through the bathroom stalls. When the feet reach the last stall, they stop, before bending on top of themselves in a gruesome manner. The child then attacks Matt.
