For the love of god. Please stop showing everything on the way to commercials. It's annoying to have to mute the tv because we'd like to be somewhat surprised during the next skits.

Just don't get caught up in the rules, they're long and convoluted and just watch what happens. A lot of it seems like new takes games from the Tonight Show or something like that, all relating to music. The first episode was a little difficult to watch, mainly because Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande were teamed up and Blake acted like a a jerky frat boy and blamed Ariana (or Jimmy) for his losses in an abrasive, but joking manner. Ariana's reactions made her seem like a little girl with no confidence in herself. The second episode is what sold me on it. Most episodes were fun, though the one with Anthony Anderson got annoying. He blamed everything he didn't know on, "I'm black, I never heard that song" and excuses like that. He also got so overbearing with Jimmy at times that it screwed Jimmy up on the rules. Otherwise, a fun show I recommend watching.

I'm really loving this show but I would like to know what charities are benefitting.
It's incredible to see the variety of talents the celebrities are demonstrating...not what you'd expect. I didn't realize that what was missing in my life was seeing Terry Crews sing disco.

I first saw and heard about this show after seeing a couple clips on YouTube and like it enough that I searched for the full episode on tv.
I have not liked a show off the bat so fast. Jimmy, Kelly, Ariana, John and Blake were so funny together. They obviously already have working relationship with each other so the playful banter and "arguments" were like a bunch of siblings playing a game. I laughed a lot. And THE SINGING! Wow!
Sometimes in these shows where celebs competed with each other or are guests on game shows, it feels kind of forced and awkward and some think they are funny and make lame jokes or jokes that they think sound teasing but are actually kinda mean. But this group played off each other so great. And Blake basically starting off by saying the show has the worst host ever, worst partner and the worst crowd ever had me rolling!

Putting aside Blake Sheltons whining about literally everything, the format should be a good one for anyone capable of actually singing, and theres few people in modern music who can actually sing...most so called singers i just want to fill their mouths with concrete
Episode 1 though, will probably be hard to beat
Kelly Clarkson being the ONLY person EVER off those talent/popularity shows that i thought could sing absolutely NAILS (there isnt a font big enough on here) Whitney Houston.
Props to Ariana Grande ,who i dont know much about but is so tiny and looks so young i always think she should be in school joins in to seal the deal. That girl can sing too...

Of course, this show is totally scripted and rehearsed...but I still find it entertaining. .as others have said, there's no way anyone would come into this show to humiliate themselves, so I'm sure they're rehearsing many times before they go to air and play the game!
As someone who does a little recording myself, I know how many takes I need to get a song recorded....on occasion, I can do a song in one take, but most times...it's several attempts to get it right. When a contestant has to sing one song's lyrics, to a different tune....hmmmm.....that's not going to happen in one take! But.... I just watched the Season 2 Premier..and Nicole simply killed it! Damn she can SING!!!
I'll be watching all of Season 2...cause it's a fun show. :)

OK, rating this a 1 or 2 or a 10 is just stupid. It's clearly filler material for the channel, and the celebs probably don't even get paid. Their payment is getting more screen time and something for their agent to talk about when trying to convince the casting director that they are "likeable" and "approachable" or whatever. Am I wrong? Who knows.
Yes, the premise of the show is obviously a joke, as the celebs are thrown softballs constantly, clearly only doing things they are already good at. And they've also obviously rehearsed the performances.
Furthermore, the scoring also means nothing, as you could win all previous rounds but still lose everything in the next. I can understand their pain, since you can't have an untouchable score and still have the show go on (and not lose viewers). But maybe a better format would be that they win increasingly better prizes along the way instead?
Some of the real singing performances were decent. Respect.
Ultimately, if your favorite celeb is on, it's fun to watch them doing something different and probably having fun at the same time. After all, they are "human" too, haha...

I was really looking forward to this show. First few episodes were okay but nothing beyond the silly games from the tonight show. Fallon seems to not follow the "rules" of the games, and the background noise is so loud, you can't hear the music. Maybe a pet peeve of mine but too many people talking at once so I can't focus on anyone.

My review is its a great show i love it. But the lady few weeks the audience is so loud its hard to hear the singers songs they sing the sound people need to correct that so their yelling clapping doesnt come through the tv it stays in the studio .it is so much fun reminds me of the fun we had doing something like this when we were rehearsing musical show we would pull stuff up like this so much fun.ok Sorry i love the band Jimmie i first seen.him in the movie with Queen Latiffa sorry if i spelt her name wrong Great fun great show we need more musicals in tv to many crime stories thank you for the show keep it coming more and more needed im just writing to get 600charecters ok Hugs to all and break a leg so much fun you Are a talent and funny guy Jimmy/jimmie.

Another fake scripted game show. You're supposed to convince me these ACTORS have no idea what they are about to sing and do on live television. Yeah right. What actor would sign up to potentially be embarrassed. They know exactly what they are about to be singing and how they are going to sing it. Hell, even the background singers know exactly how the ACTOR is going to sing and totally in sync. Yeah, totally believable. But there are people giving this show glowing reviews, that are being lied to. Morons. These shows need to be put to an end. All the same. Big time celebrity or 2 to host or judge and market the hell out of it and put it in prime time TV. Bring back some honest friggen shows for once.
So funny-wide variety of guests, enjoyable entertainment

After I watched the 1st episode and then re-watched it with my husband, its our weekly favorite show. Besides the 'say it, don't spray it', our next fave is where they have to play a song on a random instrument. It's so enjoyable for the entire family.
Thought it was canceled in the first 10 mins....

This may or may not be a popular opinion, who knows. But I just can't get over how annoying Jimmy Fallon is. His "giggly" "look at me and ONLY me as I laugh at my own jokes that aren't even that funny" type of personality is just...I don't know how too describe it, other than just flat out annoying. Tracy Morgan said it best when he said working with him on SNL was a nightmare, in the sense that he would constantly break character and giggle every chance he got. Got so bad that according to Morgan, he once told Jimmy to never do that during their sketches together or he'd beat his ass. Anyways, I was watching this show with my wife and she wanted to see Blake Shelton and the rest of voice cast so I watched it with her and tried really hard not to cringe at every moment I saw or heard jimmy's annoying voice. He hosts the Tonight show and if you had told me 10+ years ago that they were going to kick Conan to the curb for this guy I wouldn't have laughed in total and utter disbelief.
I won't go on and on, if you're still reading this you get the point lol. Anyways, my opinion, the show is all about Jimmy and just wait til they get to the B list celebs, if they even get that far. My prediction is the show won't have a second season, not by a long shot. People will only watch for the guests and once the guests turn into David spade or some reality tv star or YouTube star this show will have already hit rock bottom lol.
Anyways, that's my rant, that's my opinion. If you "love" Jimmy Fallon and him just trying to steal the show every second he can, then this is totally for you.

I love Jimmy Fallon so I naturally gravitated to the show. Especially when the first Celebrity guests We're from The Voice. I didn't think the second or any following show could top the first show but I was wrong. In fact I was wrong more than once the third show top the second show it is a great concept, Very entertaining after the last couple of years it's exactly what I needed to watch a show that takes me away from my troubles and makes me laugh. Thank you Jimmy Fallon and all the stars who agreed to do the tv series.

The games from this show are all things we've seen and enjoyed before. This problem is that there is sooooo much filler in the show. There's easily 20 minutes that I skipped through because it was unnecessary. If you're watching because you like the celebrities then maybe you'll enjoy but I'd rather watch them doing the actual games instead of the constant banter and replays and Jimmy giggling for half the show.

I created an account because I just had to express this somewhere. The premiere was so uncomfortable... Jimmy really did a poor job hosting and engaging with the audience and even telling the viewer what the premise of the show was. The contestants seemed uncomfortable and Blake Shelton was talking poorly about the show the entire time. It was a rough start.

I think my biggest peeve is when contestants have no clue how to play the game. They were told backstage. And usually the ones who never know how to play are celebrities. And then they try to be funny about it by yelling or getting loud (re: Blake Shelton).

I gave it an initial 8 out of 10. But I halved it because Ariana & Blake are wearing their wedding rings, meaning this was filmed mid-2021. Over an entire year into Covid-19 and they have a full audience, sitting shoulder to shoulder with no masks. Like WTF NBC?

While there have been some good moments, mostly it's not entertaining. Show tries SO hard to be funny and appear popular that it feels like a scam- celebrities increasing their revenue stream and getting public attention. Wanted it to work, just doesn't.
Maybe they should have done more audience testing, especially across a spectrum since the musical games tend to mix music genres. Ironically, the celebrity guests actually do cross a spectrum. Actors, young and older, popular and not so well known singers from multiple genres, and comedians make up the contestants. So, it just makes sense that they should have done broader research before the launch. Show doesn't know what it is or who its audience is. Just doesn't work.

Another Jimmy Fallon thing. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? This guy has no Talent at all he's just a kid who's seeking attention. And he upstages everybody he has some amazingly talented comedians from Saturday Night Live and he is upstaging all of them it's disgusting shame on him shame on him he's made them look like nothing that's disgusting do not like this man at all he's desperate. Yeah well Jimmy Fallon is a crummy Entertainer he is not funny at all he doesn't even entertain he just upstages everybody so that he thinks he can entertain. He is a ridiculous person who does not even care about the other people that he is on the stage with he just wants to make sure that he is the one that everybody pays attention to talk about it spoiled child that's exactly what he is he needs all the attention all the time he's a not funny man at all and it's really obvious in every single show that he does that he just wants to get the attention and upstage everybody it's very sad I don't like the man at all never have not funny not entertaining has nothing he's so lucky he's made it as far as he has in the entertainment world because he has no Talent at all none.
