Two cases..

An excellent episode where you switch from sometimes similar procedures in an higly equipped hospital and an airplane with... well a lot less things to do the same test. Add a full load of panicked passengers, a lady that want to have some fun and our classical team of doctors, shake it and enjoy it!

Airborne or Hysterical !
sam_avb10 September 2014
Dr.House this time is in the mid-air on a flight back home and one patient starts vomiting and display symptoms of a contagious disease or may be not. Dr.House with his wit and humour tries to make the situation less tense. This episode will tell you that House can solve medical problems anywhere. With little medical equipment on the plane how he manages to solve this case is amazing. And who is his team this time? fellow passengers who have no clue what is going on. He just needs someone to talk to and do the brainstorming. Thats all he needs. His comic timing is awesome and the scene where he proves how everyone is hysterical is enjoyable. He is a genius. On the ground meanwhile there are lot of things happening in the hospital. Chase scores another with his ability to come up with the solution for the Old lady. He did really well but ending is heart breaking. I can only wonder what Dr.Cameron is thinking. Seriously, its high time Dr.Cameron decides what she wants. Men are more sensitive than Women. This episodes certainly highlights that. Overall, it was one of the better episodes this season. It was enjoyable and House was at his best. :)

Cuddy gets high with House...
AlsExGal29 May 2021
.. as in altitude when they return from an international conference in Singapore. On the plane one fellow begins projectile vomiting. At first House is just annoyed that this is happening across the row from the first class seat he finagled. But soon it becomes a race to solve the man's mystery illness - he does not speak English and seems to be traveling alone - as it has all of the classic symptoms of bacterial meningitis which is very contagious, very deadly, and it is a very long flight. He has to do this with literally no medical instruments and only the medication he can cajole out of the other passengers.

Meanwhile, on the ground, a 58 year old woman has returned from a vacation in Venezuela that she took on a lark - sex, drugs, rock and roll, a last hurrah you might call it. She would have been born in 1949, so heck, maybe she was at Woodstock. She is demonstrating a host of neurological symptoms and the Houseless team has to figure out things on their own, complicated by the fact that Chase and Cameron are having a sexual relationship, he wants it to be more, she does not, and it is influencing their work performance. Two comments - Am I the only one who noticed that the cat's food bowl was full? Watch and find out what I mean. And, yes, Foreman, there is such a thing as just sex. Go ask the stashed plate club and they will agree with me.

I really liked how this was presented with the intercutting between scenes in the two crises. A very excellent episode, as usual.

Excellent Episode, both stories

House commandeers the passengers on a plane that he and Cuddy are on when one of the passengers gets sick. The man doesn't speak English....hmmm....time to operate? Any volunteers here to assist? It's hair-raising and hilarious in equal measure. Just Hugh Laurie's best!.....Meanwhile, on the ground, a lady of a certain age seems to be knocking off her sexual bucket list, phones for a female sex worker to come to her house (!) but collapses from a mystery illness. Wilson handles that case with the distracted help of Cameron and Chase. (nothing to do with anything, but isn't it nice that Wilson, Cameron, and Chase all go by nice white-bread surnames?)...funny thing about the lady with the bucket list, she's played by The King of Queen's delightful tv mother! Fatso on KoQ would have an aneurism himself if he ever knew that! ... A must-see episode .

There have been better episodes this season!
XFilesChik17 April 2007
This was a good episode but I think this season, particularly with the development of House and Cameron's relationship, has been the best! I didn't enjoy the detective episodes too much but this season has been great and I can't wait to see where this is all leading! ::crosses my fingers for House and Cameron:: He deserves love! ;-) He's just playing hard to get! This episode was interesting but I missed him and his team together! Hugh Laurie is a comic genius with his timing and facial expressions; a wonderful actor! I found the writing was well done. I enjoyed when he attempted to make his team out of random people on the plane. Well done all together but it was just missing that personal/emotional development that it seemed to be gaining this season!
