My wife and I picked up the box set for this show from Half Priced Books, and were soon glad we did! At 12 episodes, it felt totally manageable, and was fun to watch throughout.
The main character is an overly-optimistic, bubbly blonde you can't help but root for, and the allies and enemies she meets on her journey are all unique and creative.
One thing that made the series feel a little incomplete/unpolished, was that we never get to see al 10 of the jutensen (special evil warriors in the show). Also, it would've been nice to see the main character live by her love>war hugging philosophy a little more, as it only came up a few times. Maybe this is all addressed in the manga?
Overall, it was a very endearing, softcore fanservice, fun time!
