Choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who has directed films like Swami (2007), Money Hai Toh Honey Hai (2008) and Angel (2011), is now in plans of directing a dance film that he says will be different from Remo D’souza’s directorial Abcd (Any Body Can Dance).
“I am planning to make a dance film which will be completely original and different from Abcd or any other dance film. Also, it will not be 3D,” he stated.
He also said that he has projects like Aamir’s Peekay, Indra Kumar’s Grand Masti and Saif’s Bullet Raja to choreograph. He recently choreographed the songs from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a biopic made by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra on the legendary Milkha Singh.
Ganesh added,” I had worked with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra in Rang De Basanti and he approached me for this film. Some dance moves were a challenge since we had a few military people to do them.

The poster of Angel says, ‘This is not a love story. This is a story about love’. Now, we wonder how the two sentences mean differently. Anyway, Angel is Choreographer-turned-director Ganesh Acharya’s third directorial venture after Swami and Money Hai To Honey Hai. The ‘story about love’ marks the debut of Sanjay Dutt’s nephew Nilesh Sahay along with Maddalsa Sharma.

Choreographer-director Ganesh Acharya has been hearing a lot about the similarity between Sanjay Dutt and his film’s lead actor Nilesh Sahay. People have been saying a lot about Nilesh’s resemblance to his maternal uncle Sanjay.Acharya, who has earlier directed Swami, says the comparison is a little unfair for the young actor. “Dutt is a big star and Nilesh has just begun his career. Yes, he has this legacy behind him. Just like Dutt, Nilesh has a macho body and is soft-spoken,” says Acharya. “I was looking for someone who would look convincing fighting 10 men, and perfect while romancing a ...

The video which had Nithyananda and Ranjitha in compromising position had turned many people red faced. There was news initially that Ranjitha was involved in this. Later on it was mentioned that one of Nithyananda’s disciple Lenin Karuppan had taken the video clandestinely. Then it seems that he has mentioned that he and Ranjitha had taken this video to black mail Nithyananda to make money. But Swami Nithyananda, in a statement said that he had not committed any thing contrary to law and also added that he is gathering the information regarding this video and he will bring out the truth within few days.

Jose here with a confession: few things nowadays get me as happy as the idea of a new Julia Roberts movie (yes, I'm slightly easy to please sometimes). So you can imagine the excitement this month has provided for me! First was the cute, and star studded, trailer for Valentine's Day (what do you mean you haven't seen it? Do so now!).
And today the web is bursting with Julia in saris, flower necklaces and bodyguards as she begins shooting Eat, Pray, Love in the town of Mirzapur in northern India. The movie, directed by Ryan Murphy, is based on the eponymous novel by Elizabeth Gilbert and tells the story of a divorced woman who travels across the world to regain her inner peace.
But back to Julia, The Indian Times reports Wearing a purple kurta, black salwar and rudraksha beads, she completed her first day's shoot for a Hollywood...

Julia Roberts and her new film have been officially blessed by the Swami who oversees the ashram where she is shooting.
The Pretty Woman star began shooting Eat, Pray, Love at Ashram Harimandir in Pataudi on Sunday - and she met with the sacred site's chief official, Swami Dharam Dev on Monday to ask him for his blessing.
Film insider Rajan Zed, tells WENN, "When Julia went to seek his blessings, Swami was quoted as telling her to step into sadhvi’s (virtuous woman) role in her real life whenever she was in self doubt.
"Swami also reportedly suggested her to adopt prayers, meditation and yoga in her real life and take all good things she learned at the ashram back to the U.S.A.
"She reportedly introduced her children to Swami with the names of Mahalaxmi, Ganesh, and Krishna Balram. Swami reportedly tied raksha-sutra (sacred protective thread) on their wrists."
The actress launched the filming with a hawan fire sacrifice and cooked dal-roti (bread) for a community lunch at the ashram.
She also took part in religious chanting and offered prayers, along with her children and told religious leaders, "India is really amazing."
Zed, a leading Hindu statesman in America, has applauded Roberts for her devotion to Hinduism as she starts shooting: "She's actively participating in it with her three children, and showing keen interest.
"The people of India will be anxious to see how perfectly Roberts does her job of cleaning the ashram as a part of her devotional duty, recites the 182-verse Sanskrit chant, and masters meditation in the film."...
