I recently saw this at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films and it's a well made film on a small budget featuring two interesting performances. This is a social comedy on how an elderly couple (Rolf Nagel) as the man and (Ursul Arn-Ende) as the woman view life and their relationship told in narrative from their own viewpoint with no inter-dialog between the two. The woman is filmed seated in an outdoor café and the man seated in front of a chessboard. This is the ninth short film from Spanish director/writer Daniel Sánchez Chamorro and the first of his shorts shot in Germany and in German language and cast. Chamorro has won 81 awards with his shorts at various film festivals worldwide and is also a successful television commercial and corporate video writer/director. This is a fun, quirky look at a long marriage and I would give it an 8.0 out of 10.
