Dump Joe Kernen

I'm so tired of listening to Joe pontificate on politics rather than provide financial news. He's currently fixated on inflation and never mentions any positives like improving unemployment numbers or the continued rise of the stock market. He trashes Democratic guests on the rare occasion they're invited and throws softballs to the endless parade of Republicans. I change the channel when Joe is on.

LIberate Squawk

Great show....other than Joe Kernan. He gotta' Go! Yet another angry, myopic, mumbling, disgruntled Old White Republican Dude that just contributes to the Ol' White Guy out-of-touch stereotypes. What a Bubba!!! Just report the damned Financial News and shut up, Joe.... Puh_lease!!! What a Bore. Ship him over to Fox 'Faux News' station, where he belongs.

Joe Kernen

I wish Joe would let his knowledgeable guests talk instead of constantly interrupting them and mumbling over the top of them.

I don't watch the show to hear Joe. There are many junior members of this show and CNBC writ large who could be so much more effective than Joe. Kelly Evans would be a perfect replacement for Joe. I watch it to hear perspective of experts.

For the most part Joe & Andrew balance each other out with their political views. Becky Quick seems to be the neutral moderator of the three.

I stopped watching Fox business because it absolutely drips with political commentary and lack of details (that let me form my opinions).

Joe Kernen's Regression

Joe Kernen's relentless propaganda in support of far right political candidates and long discredited economic policies has become intolerable. There is no balance to his presentations. His softball questions to and coaching of the numerous supply side apologists he features on Squawk Box is so pronounced that it has turned the program into a political screed. I tune in... and have been doing so for almost 30... years for financial information. If I wanted to watch a propaganda channel I'd tune in to Brian Kilmeade on FOX.

In the rare instances where Andrew Ross Sorkin interviews a person with an opinion he opposes, Kernen constantly chimes in to rudely interrupt the flow of the interview and distort the message. I have watched him for years and enjoyed his reporting for the most part. Lately, however, he's devolved into a cheerleader for right wing views. It's painful to watch.

Squawk Box Fan Except Joe

I have to say that I love Squawk Box most of the time. The only problem is when Joe pretends that he can read someone's mind. I suggest that if he thinks he knows what someone thinks, he should ask the person directly. He says "You probably think that", instead of asking the person how they feel about the subject. I feel very uncomfortable for the person that he is attacking. Joe should state his opinion without including others in his opinion. During the show today he stated the the reporter would say the President Elect Trump would be disorganized because he said there will be "No chain of command". The reporter disagreed and said President Elect Trump may be easier to communicate with "No chain of command".

Great show without Joe

It is refreshing to watch Squawk Box this week due to the absence of Joe Kernen. He is condescending to guests and his co anchor Andrew Sorkin. Joe's ego has gotten the best of him. Humble is not in his vocabulary. I agree with other reviewers online...time for a change at Squawk Box.

NO TO JOE!

I watch this show for financial news in order to gain insight on the stock market but Joe Kernen's political rants override everything financial. I am shocked at his rudeness towards any guest who's opinions don't exactly reflect Joe's. His childish egocentric irrational rants distract from the main purpose of this show. I want financial news to help me make my financial decisions. I do not wish to have Joe's political propaganda rammed down my throat first thing in the morning. I can watch Fox News for that. Squawk Box needs to stay on topic if not then, I'm done watching this show.

Joe needs to go!

Very informative, intelligent show

I love the show. For those that want to know what's going on in the financial and business world this is the show to watch. I start each day watching and feel smarter for doing so. Joe Kernan is my favorite.

Done with Joe Kernan

I have watch Squawk Box for many years, but can't stand it with the Republican Joe Kernan spouting his LOVE for Trump every day. This is supposed to be a business show, but mostly it has become political. He is totally condescending to his co host Andrew and I have stopped watching the show and wait to turn on CNBC until it is over......unless I find that Joe is on vacation or whatever. GET HIM OFF of the show. Time for retirement!!!!

We get to see and hear plenty of Politics on TV all day long on the news shows where they belong. Let us have a few minutes in the morning without all of this trash talk about Kamala Harris and Biden and stick to what we are REALLY watching CNBC for....information about stock!!

CNBC really needs to consider retiring Joe Kernan. Maybe the reason he is spouting all of this Rpublican propaganda is because he cannot keep up with the business news and the market changes. He would rather spend his time bad mouthing the Democrats and Kamala Harris. Time for him to go.

Squawk Box Hosts

I watch Squawk Box every morning for what I believe is expert analysis breaking news of the financial markets, and I also enjoy the comradery amongst the hosts and their guests. Ever since I began watching, my own financial knowledge has increased exponentially. As each host makes a unique contribution to the show, Becky Quick is always the voice of reason on the show and is relatable to most viewers. Steven Liesman, Senior Economics Reporter is instrumental in delivering on all aspects of the economy, including the Federal Reserve and major economic indicators. Best selling author and journalist, Andrew Ross Sorkin of New York City is unrelenting in breaking news on mergers and acquisitions and has been assertive in identifying corporation perks such as tax loopholes and inversion practices. Joe Kernen often projecting his political stance, has extensive experience as a stock broker and was part of the Financial News Network before their merger with CNBC.

Is squawk box becoming a Fox like political arm?

Watching the speaker interview today felt like a political paid ad for the Republican Party. I would hope for more financial analysis and less political prompting and promotion. Disappointed to say the least. I couldn't believe how it was allowed to go on and on with only minimal challenges in the questions. An awful lot of airtime free of advertising dollars for the republicans. It's not that there isn't anything worth a discussion that was raised. It was the partisan lack of probative questioning that was over the top. A missed opportunity to learn and understand more of what is going on in DC. Shameful. I would hope for the same probative questions of the dems if on air.

KERNEN HAS TO GO!

I used to enjoy The Squawk Box, but not so much anymore. Joe Kernen has become TOO political, condescending towards guest that do NOT agree with his ideals, and his opinions are now based on politics and not stock analysis. He needs to GO or move to FOX to talk about his politics. Compared to Andrew Ross Sorkin, Sorkin a much better anchor for early morning or anytime. His ability to connect with guest and fellow anchors is outstanding. I enjoy watching him with Cramer and Faber, those three have chemistry and makes it an informative morning show that I enjoy with my morning coffee. Sorkin needs to be on the morning shows more and more and REMOVE KERNEN.

Joe Kernen makes it unwatchable

Kernen not only uses the show to advance his Trump-loving political idealogy, but he's rude to guests and other colleagues. His broken sentences and mumbling are also annoying.

Also, he's pushing 70 years old and that dark brown wig on his head is looking more and more ridiculous.

He thinks he's the reason most people tune in but both Becky and Andrew are much more knowledgeable. Most people don't care about his opinions or his lame attempts at humor.

He needs to get off the show so I can watch it again.

I miss the late great Mark Haines who built the show but Joe Kernen ruined it. Why on Earth does CNBC keep him on?

Why keep Joe?

Painful to watch Joe. I turn it off or over. Why keep him? He stammers around and doesn't make much sense. His body language is off. It is a wonderful time to revamp the show. Everyone is commuting and listening in their car. But right now I can't listen the way it is. Instead we wait till 0900 to listen to Squawk on the Street. Also quit making it so partisan. We need to hear about stocks, finances, investments, and such, but somehow political views and politics keep coming up. What we need is some smart people that know how to make money investing. That's why people are listening to podcasts.

Becky Quick Needs To Stop Fawning Over Warren Buffett.

Ok, we get it. Quick and Buffett have a mutual admiration society. However, Becky Quick needs to stop genuflecting in the presence of the Great One and start asking some tough questions.

For instance, when is Mr. Buffett going to release his death grip on the billions he has accumulated, thanks to the Bull Market and the Trump tax cuts, and start sharing his profits in the form of dividends with his loyal shareholders? A buyback may raise the share price (and further enrich Mr. Buffett), but if the higher priced shares are sold they are gone. Period!! A dividend would enable shareholders to see their holdings accumulate through additional shares, further increasing the value of their holdings.

Those of us who have been loyal to Mr. Buffett and to Berkshire Hathaway are not children. His lame explanations about why he has been reluctant to declare a dividend are condescending and insulting. And, yes, one could always get rid of the holding if Mr. Buffett persists in guarding his billions with pit bull tenacity...however, how nice it would be as he gets ever closer to retirement, if he were to start paying dividends to those of us who have displayed loyalty to Mr. Buffett and to the stock.

So, Ms. Quick, perhaps Mr. Buffett might be taken aback if you stopped playing softball and confronted him on this issue. It would certainly make the show more interesting than watching the two of you making moon eyes at one another over treacly interviews.

And, by the way, I agree with those viewers who question what her co-anchor, Joe, brings to the table except incoherent rambling. There have to be more competent and knowledgeable moderators somewhere out there.

Joe come down on politics we know you love Trump

Why can't anybody entertain a use tax 10% spending tax for the federal government if you use it you pay that way all the drug dealers and all the smugglers and all the illegal workers can pay their fair share and guess what we don't have to pay thousands of dollars to accountants and tax workers to figure out our complicated tax system that is getting worse to figure out every year I'm in South Florida we have thousands of boats not registered to the USA I think that's money in the bank any boat that stays in the USA more than 3 months got to be registered and pay its own tax billions of dollars are lost Cruise ships pay your tax Side note for Joe allow guests to speak at least I'm not calling for your removal like others.

Be prepared

Saw Becky's interview regarding disputed stimulous bill. Has she or anyone at CNBC read the bill passed by Nancy Pelosi? Becky's interview furthers the impression this is just a fight over how much "aid" for Americans suffering the effects of COVID 19. If you read Pelosi's legislation I suspect your questions will be very different. Please read it and then interview. You are one of the last hopes for objective journalism.

Misleading News

CNBC has repeatedly given misleading and false news in relation to the GameStock short squeeze. They are taking the side of the billion dollar hedge funds who are desperately trying to get people to sell their shares. CNBC allows their show to be used by the billionaire elites to manipulate the stock market. Absolutely shameful.

Disappointed with Joe Kernan

After many years as an avid watcher of Squawk Box and appreciating the news and analysis, have become very disenchanted with Joe Kernan's commentary. Plus he's constantly interrupting CNBC's guests with his own spin and how guest's comments are wrong. Of course, it's good to have different perspectives on a business news channel, but Joe has obviously become a spokesman for Trump's thoughtless, incoherent and offensive spiels, frankly mostly lies!

Becky , Andrew, Steve and the other show's regulars are doing their best to keep the discussions on topic and accurate. And I'm now regularly switching to CNN & MSNBC Morning Joe.

Squak Box political or business

More and more the program annoys me. If I want political news I would change the channel. I want business news and this doesn't seem to be possible with Joe Kernan on the show. Joe seems to be more interested in giving his views rather than asking guests their views. I find I watch the show less and less due to the political content. Joe agenda seems to be one of advancing the views of the Republican Party. CNBC do us a favor and get him off.

I've comments from two and three years ago and many of these views were prevalent then. Does CNBC listen to their viewers? I would like to see more of Andrew and Becky.
