Traylor Howard and Heather Tom in Monk (2002)

Trivia

Mr. Monk Is on the Air

Monk

Edit
[21:28] Max Hudson calls Adrian Monk "The Defective Detective." Dale the Whale called him the same thing in Mr. Monk Meets Dale the Whale (2002)(#1.4).
When Randy suggests that they find Little Willy and "measure the circumference of his head then divide it by pi or something," he is actually mathematically correct. Dividing the circumference of a circle by pi gives you the diameter, which is the measurement that would tell you whether little Willy's head fits through the window. Of course, his head might not be a perfect circle, and it might not be the widest part of his body.
Steven Weber guest stars in this episode. Weber and Tony Shaloub both starred in the NBC comedy "Wings".
The radio station is 99.9 KISW, which is an actual station in Seattle.
Kevin P. Farley character "JJ the Joke Machine" is an obvious takeoff of Jackie "The Jokeman" Martling, the great comedian who worked with Howard Stern for many years. In fact, Max Hudson's style is that of Howard Stern (1994) of that time frame.
