President Donald Trump was accused of advocating violence against CNN after he tweeted an altered video of himself physically attacking a man wearing the network's logo on his head.
The president, 71, shared the controversial video on Sunday, July 2, amid his ongoing Twitter feuds with CNN and MSNBC. He captioned the tweet, "#FraudNewsCNN #Fnn," two hashtags he previously used to label the network's critical reporting about his administration and tweets.
The altered video originated from the real estate mogul's 2007 appearance on WWE's WrestleMania 23, where he tackled the company's founder Vince McMahon.

In addition to being president and a professional wrestling personality, Donald Trump has also been the host of The Apprentice.

This morning, Donald Trump, the most powerful man in the world, tweeted a video of one of his many WWE appearances altered to make it look as though he was attacking CNN. The video appeared to have been edited from a recent Reddit post from a user named “HanAssholeSolo.”

10:41 Am Pt -- CNN released a statement saying ... "It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters. Yeah, I’m bringing it up. Why? Because Donald Trump, despite being our President and having more important things to do, has a 30 year history with the WWE. I’m not putting it past him, even in his current role, to possibly stop by Orlando and show up for this thing. It’s one of the most hyped Wrestlemanias ever given this might be The Undertaker’s final appearance. But let’s take a look at Trump and his history with the WWE. Atlantic City’s Trump Plaza hosted WrestleMania IV and V. In 2007 he performed in WrestleMania 23, attacking WWE CEO Vince McMahon

As the Undertaker announces his retirement, we look back at his Wrestlemania record...
This article is from Den Of Geek Us.
WrestleMania XXX was an eventful show. It calmed the fears of those afraid that it would crash the WWE Network and cause major damage to the company's latest venture. Cesaro broke away from his tag team and broke out by winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy. Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and the Rock hung out in the ring and had a blast. Mr. T and Roddy Piper buried the hatchet. Daniel Bryan went through an endless supply of punishment before being defeating Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista.
That was a big moment and a major story, but the thing people will be talking about for a long time is the end of Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. For the first time ever, Undertaker lost at...

Wrestling’s not all that different from legitimate sports in a number of regards, among them the ‘what could have been’ instances. In sports, it could be one play in a game that, had it gone just a smidge differently, could have swung an entire outcome. For wrestling, it comes down to decisions, both from the office and the workers. Had all hands on deck agreed to go a certain way with a proposed idea, wrestling history as we know it could be much different in many aspects.
WrestleMania lore is loaded with ideas that ended up crumpled and littered on the power broker’s floor. Maybe an injury changed fate. Maybe somebody exercised creative control and killed an idea. Perhaps Vince McMahon himself, going through one of his many abrupt changes of heart, decided to roll in a different direction, as he’s apt to do.

If you’ve been following this series of articles, you’ll have read about my first trip to the Us for WrestleMania Xix, my New York trip in 2004 and then again for when WrestleMania went Hollywood in 2005.
I decided to take a break in 2006 in order to pay off some student debts and let my bank balance recover a little. Shortly after making that decision, WWE announced that Bret Hart would be inducted into the Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 22 weekend. I wish I’d seen the ceremony that year (featuring the inductions of Hart, Sensational Sherri, Gene Okerlund and Eddie Guerrero) but in terms of WrestleMania 22 itself, I was Ok to give the show a miss that year.
After my year off, I decided I’d go back the following year and set about booking up for WrestleMania 23 in Detroit, Michigan. With it being twenty...

Celebrity involvement in wrestling is nothing new. Actors, musicians and pro athletes have been making special appearances at WWE events since the first WrestleMania in 1985. Some have appeared because they’re genuine fans, while others were only there to promote their own agendas. Then there were the celebrities who actively took part in the show, and even stepped into the ring.
Arrow’s Stephen Amell teamed with Neville to defeat Stardust and King Barrett at SummerSlam. Floyd Mayweather took on the Big Show at WrestleMania Xxiv. Lawrence Taylor wrestled Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI. Hell, David Arquette is a former WCW Champion!
The results are usually hit-and-miss. Amell might have had a decent showing at SummerSlam but other times we got Roddy Piper versus Mr T and an appearance by Snooki. Perhaps it’s better if the guest star stays out of the ring, like Donald Trump did at WrestleMania 23.

It is now official. Cm Punk is no longer an employee of the WWE. Cm Punk’s contract from the company has expired and he is now a free man. Cm Punk came into the WWE in 2005 making his main roster debut in 2006. From that point onward, he would gain millions of fans that admired his rebellious attitude towards authority and much more. More importantly though, Cm Punk is arguably one of the best wrestlers to have stepped foot inside the squared circle in the last decade or so. There’s a reason he calls himself ” The Best in the World”, because he really is that good.
Sadly, Cm Punk’s run in WWE ended so abruptly as he quit without saying a proper goodbye. The only type of goodbye Cm Punk said to his fans was only thanking them on Twitter. It would have been better if...

Chris Jericho has always been one of the most outspoken performers in WWE history. He’s got an opinion on anything you ask him. His podcast is a hit and he’s also not shy when he does interview as well. Recently he spoke to DigitalSpy.com about a number of subjects including WWE’s decision to end The Undertaker’s win streak at WrestleMania:
“I loved it, I thought it was great. It was a legitimate shock, it got everybody talking. I think the right guy got it, if you’re going from a credibility standpoint, and if you’re going from a believability standpoint. As much as people and fans and journalists want to believe that it’s the case, I’m not sure if Undertaker had too many matches left in him. Maybe he doesn’t want to wrestle again. Maybe he knew that he couldn’t take any more.

Everyone hates a mean boss: no matter what the job is, or what rulings need to be put into place, when bosses say or do something that the working class doesn’t approve of, everybody reacts negatively towards them.
In reality, there’s not much that can be done about it, but inevitably in our minds, fantasies play out where revenge is delivered to the boss in a variety of ways. There’s just something about watching an authority figure get his or her comeuppance that feels so satisfying to watch. Vince McMahon, the Chairman and CEO of WWE, has been representing the archetype of the “evil boss” in professional wrestling for many years, and the rap sheet of the various nefarious deeds ranging from annoying to downright evil is miles long and growing. Of course, the man performing these acts is simply Vince’s character “Mr. McMahon,” but...

We are fast approaching the 30th annual WrestleMania event and it is the time of year when many wrestling fans look back on the famous event and revisit the moments that, for whatever reason, were memorable to them. Through the years there have been plenty of memorable moments at WrestleMania and dozens of wrestlers have carved themselves into the tree-bark of history with their performance on the grandest stage in professional wrestling. One of those wrestlers, of course, is the man who called himself “The Heartbreak Kid” and was labelled by fans and critics alike as “Mr WrestleMania”. That man is Shawn Michaels, and this DVD/Blu-ray package is about his legacy on WWE’s main stage.
Shawn Michaels made his WrestleMania debut as part of The Rockers tag team with Marty Jannetty to take on The Twin Towers in 1989 at the fifth annual show, and his last wrestling appearance...

The Undertaker’s 21-0 Wrestlemania undefeated streak is the last great record in professional wrestling. No male superstar will ever again match Bruno Sammartino’s combined 4,040 days as Wwwf champion. No wrestler regardless of gender will ever touch the Fabulous Moolah’s legendary 27-year reign as Women’s Champion. It’s unlikely that we’ll ever see the “Honky-Meter” again during an Intercontinental Championship reign. And no other wrestler it seems will be able to come close to the Phenom’s streak of wins at the “grandest stage of all.”
But he isn’t the only undefeated superstar at Wrestlemania. Sure, he’s undefeated with the most matches, but 16 other superstars have at least a 2-0 record (one victory does not a streak make) or better (not counting pre-show losses or Battle Royal eliminations.) Who are the others who can claim to...

Every year, Forbes Magazine releases a ranking of the richest people in the world. It’s a list of billionaires that come from all walks of life. This year, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made the list with a reported net worth of $1.2 billion. If you visit Forbes.com and find #1372 on the list it’s Vince McMahon along with a bunch of other really rich people.
It’s a big deal because McMahon hasn’t been on the list before and was described as a “newcomer” on an article on the Forbes website. It’s weird that a 69-year-old could be called a “newcomer” considering his position in WWE for over 30 years, but in the billionaires club that’s what he was.
You might recall that there have been various points in Vince’s life where he could be considered a billionaire.

While many know Dave Bautista as one of the stars of the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy," he was a WWE superstar by the name of Batista before any of that, and will be once again. Batista is returning to WWE Monday (Jan. 20) and has already been confirmed as appearing in the "Royal Rumble."
Batista turns 45 years old Saturday (Jan. 18) and Zap2it is partying with some of the very best matches from throughout his career. Given Batista's previous work, there's no doubt he'll be adding some great moments to this list over the next few months.

Batista will be returning to WWE on the January 20th Raw. It has been almost 4 years since “The Animal” has been in a WWE ring, and no doubt wrestling fans are anxious to see the six-time World Champion back in action.
The question is, who will The Animal be facing when he makes his return? This article will look at seven opponents that Batista should face when he comes back to World Wrestling Entertainment. Some are familiar foes, some are new faces, but all of these potential opponents would make for great matches.
7. The Undertaker
Batista and The Undertaker arguably stole the show at Wrestlemania 23, which is saying something, because the highest bought pay-per view of all time was loaded with Cena/Michaels, an all star-filled Money in the Bank match, and the Battle of the Billionaires between Vince McMahon and Donald Trump.

Hosted by The Miz, the compilation features every Money in the Bank Ladder Match in history. The match debuted at WrestleMania 21 in 2005, quickly becoming a WrestleMania tradition and in 2010 proved so popular that it was given its own annual PPV event. Several top Superstars have been Money in the Bank winners including John Cena, Kane, Edge, Cm Punk (twice!), Rob Van Dam and many more. 11 of the first 12 winners have used the match as a springboard to winning a championship, and several times the match has helped a Superstar who has never win a World Championship break through to claim their first. Much like the Royal Rumble Match, the Money in the Bank match represents a golden opportunity for a Superstar to achieve immortality, and its entire lineage is presented here.

A home video release solely dedicated to the voice of the voiceless, Cm Punk, has been an extremely long awaited one for me so let’s get too it – Adam.
Main Feature
The long awaited set begins with a short, slightly cheesy, package showing Punk prepare for his day. It is something against the norm for WWE release but thinking about it, Cm Punk is against the norm for WWE TV so in that sense its effective.
Moving on and hearing Punk re tell stories from his childhood hits hard, probably because his life hasn’t been expressed in various other books or DVD sets etc. Punk recalls not wanting to stay at home and eventually being seemingly adopted by his best friends family, it’s interesting to look into a situation where someone, as strange as it may seem, was born into the wrong family.

Just making the card of wrestlemania is enough to fulfil the dreams of some of the members of the wwe roster but then there are others who aim a little higher to pursue a coveted wrestlemania moment and to steal the show with their match on the grandest stage of them all. It is the grandstand wrestling event where the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock watched childhood heroes such as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage engage in combat and where today’s main eventers such as Cm Punk and The Miz were captivated in turn by the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.

We are less than a month away from WrestleMania 28, and as always there is huge hype surrounding the top few matches on the card. But spare a thought for the match that takes place first on the card, whose job is to get the show off to a good start and psyche up the crowd.
What follows is a collection of the best of those opening matches, and what’s interesting is how many participants went on from opening the show, to main eventing it a few years later.
10. WrestleMania 15
Hardcore Title Match: Billy Gunn vs. Al Snow vs. Hardcore Holly
This match marked the first time that the Hardcore Title was defended at a Wrestlemania event. Prior to this match, Gunn was part of the Intercontinental Title programme, while his partner Road Dogg was the one known for Hardcore. For some reason, they switched divisions and Gunn defended here.

Its that time of the year again. Every year now, along with the Wrestlemania main event, we’re guaranteed at least one other huge match in the form of the Undertaker defending his undefeated streak. The record currently stands at 19-0, making this year his chance to go 20 matches without a loss. This year, we really have no way of telling what kind of physical shape Undertaker is in, since he hasn’t had a single match since last year’s encounter against Triple H so it’s a hard one to call. The release of Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, one of the most hotly-anticipated albums of the year. The 13-track LP completes something of a comeback narrative for West that began with the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (when he was ostracized for crashing the stage during a Taylor Swift acceptance speech and went underground for a while) and was built up over the course of the past year with some key live performances, the "G.O.O.D. Friday" download series and the recently-released short film "Runaway." In fact, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is so dense and full of gems that it's necessary to take each song and break it down to its bare elements. This time around, we take a look at the references on "So Appalled."

Former wrestling superstar Umaga has died, aged just 36.
The ex-World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion passed away at his Houston, Texas home on Thursday night after suffering a heart attack, according to his devastated family.
The star, real name Edward Fatu, saw his career with WWE cut short in 2003 when he was fired for his involvement in a bar fight, but went on to enjoy stints with rival wrestling giants Tna and All Japan.
He returned to WWE in 2005 and became a hugely popular member, headlining the massively successful WrestleMania 23 event in 2007.
He was later fired for a second time in June after violating the company's drug-testing policy.
A statement from the WWE says, "WWE would like to express its deepest condolences to Mr Fatu's family, friends and fans on his tragic passing.
