Reason to Believe (#13.8)

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is a bit boring in the main story. I didn't really get into the whole thing with Neela the blue lady and some very stupid children.

The thing with Curtis is interesting only because it was great to see Luka worried. Not because I don't like the character but because it was done very well and intense.

Was a bit sad about Pratt reacting like this, but it was wonderful acting and I am sure he will get over it. It is actually a great idea to add more to their brothers relationship.

I really hope Tony won't end up with Neela. His relationship is kind of bizarre, but I rather see something happening with that than with that annoying character.

Masam Holden did a great job
whobethere17 November 2006
Last night episode was great. I thought the chemistry between the actors worked very well. The guest stars did a great job especially Masam Holden. I thought his performance was great. I noticed on the IMDb that he has been on Without a Trace and some short films. I will try to catch the other shows also. The show reflected a small corner of our society that many forget. Homeless kids. We thought the writing was great. Masam through his acting ability and great performance was able to bring this situation to life and show compassion and hurt. We hope this is not the last time we see Masam. someone should adopt him so he can stay around. Great show, very emotional.

best directed episode of ER in as long as I can remember
mail-27755 December 2006
The direction of this episode was amazing and the cinematography was incredible. This one just jumped out as being beautifully photographed. It is about 25% darker than the other recent episodes, but great to look at, like any episode of Kidnapped (NBC, canceled). I was not aware of episode director Ernest R. Dickerson before seeing this, but I looked it up fast because this one just jumps off the screen. ER has been getting good again lately, and such a nicely made episode is welcome. Movies have never been worse than 2006 and TV has never been better. A lot of the better stuff has been getting canceled this year, but it is still good to see some of the good new shows, even if only for a few weeks. Going to a movie theater to see some major release is a complete and total waste of time and money.

Pratt sucked
Zedyeti26 January 2022
Rewatching this show and really forgot how bad of a character Greg Pratt is. Always whining and looks like he gonna cry and now he punching residents? Yeah ok haha. Should have replaced gallant and Pratt storylines honestly.

Also the children and blue lady bs in this episode was weird, dumb, and kinda boring.

Farce

Warning: Spoilers
Farce of an episode. The tired trope of a tracheotomy with nearby dirty knife should have been off limits to ER. It wasn't.

The dirty children pretending to live in a fantasy movie were annoying.
