Chief Chirpa: The leadership of the tribe is a privilege to be earned. Before one is leader, three lessons must be learned. The lesson of the hand will teach both strength and speed. The lesson of the head is learned when hands do not succeed. But the lesson of the heart will make the leader strong. With head and heart together, the hand is never wrong.

My Favorite Ewok Episode featuring Kneesaa
This is one of my favorite episodes of Season 1 because it features my favorite Ewoks, Princess Kneesaa. This episode is also the first to show Chief Chirpa instructing his daughter on the tribe's leadership.
In this episode, while her friends are dancing on a nice day, Kneesaa has to study, which she is not happy about. Then she gets a devious grin on her face: "But, Father wouldn't mind if I left for a little while." But in her haste, Kneesaa knocked over a potion of Logray that spilled on his stranglethorn plant; she did not know that it was a growth potion, and the plant started growing and running amok in the village! (*YIPES!*) So feeling responsible, Kneesaa decides to go get the ingredients for the antidote: Keet's nectar, Ganga root, and sap from a Trome tree. Of course, fearing for her safety, Wickett goes along with her. Will they succeed? You will watch and see for yourself.
I love it when Kneesaa thanks Wickett for coming with her, gives him a cute smile, and Wickett says, "Aw well, we better go!" I was like, "Aww, did I detect a hint of blush in those cheeks?" (*snicker*). Anyway, all of have to say is that this is another great episode from Season 1 of "Ewoks."
