Amusing, good comedy

Warning: Spoilers
Hilarious seeing Barney trying to be a wing-man for Marshall, especially that third girl at the Scorpion and Toad bar and how he waited until he was in the cab with Marshall to steal her phone number from him. Lilly's return is also funny - especially how she retold meeting new people on the tram in San Francisco. I also liked the choice Marshall takes at the end of the episode regarding whether or not he should quickly jump back into the relationship after Lilly dumped him three months prior.

The Scorpion and the Toad (#2.2)

Glad they didn't it long to bring Lily back to the group. It as great to see her talking with Robin and Ted and ho she wanted to see Marshall again.

Barney taking Marshall on picking up the girls trips was also fun, mainly thanks to Jason Segel. He showed that awkwardness of a guy who hasn't been dating for a long time perfectly, and yet he had so much sweetness about him. Barney as annoying me a bit in this episode, but I like that it was going on because it made Marshall's revenge so much greater.

I really like the story of Lily and Marshall. They are making it so perfect, real, full of feelings and I am sure that it will end up well. Them talking in this episode showed that they love each other, even if Marshall needs time, it can't be too much time. I am pretty excited to see them trying to be friends and then to make it work again.

Neil Patrick Harris Does It Again

Another great episode of "How I Met Your Mother" that heavily features Barney Stinson. Neil Patrick Harris, take a now sir. Every time there is a great episode of this show, it's him that delivers

Plot In A Paragraph: Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) feels that its time for Marshall (Jason Segel) to get out in the dating scene once again. He appoints himself Marshall's wing man in picking up girls. Their nights out don't quite work out the way Marshal imagined. Meanwhile, Lily (Alyson Hannigan) turns up at Robins Robin (Cobie Smulders) apartment saying that she had the best summer of her life in San Francisco.

Ted (Josh Radnor) doesn't have much to do here, this episode is knocked out of the park by a delightfully fun Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan.

One of my favourite episodes.

One of the best jokes in the entire show

Warning: Spoilers
...is in this episode. Marshall and Barney are going out to pick up women, get their numbers. Barney, being Barney, keeps moving in on the women Marshall's making progress with and wowing them with magic tricks, then taking them home while Marshall's left on his own. He promises he won't do it again, but of course he can't help himself. So the next time, before they go out, Marshall makes him promise no more magic. He promises, but he can't be trusted. So Marshall makes Barney empty his pockets - revealing a fire trick. Then check his sleeves - revealing a string of handkerchiefs. Then behind his own ear. Of course Barney produces a coin from there. I had to type this all out because of the character minimum and probably ruined it but it's just smart. Probably the best joke the show has ever done.
