The One In Paris...
taylorkingston3 May 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoy this episode. Although I absolutely hate the Lorelai/Christopher relationship, always have and always will, I like this episode. It's not one of my favorites but it's entertaining enough for me to watch it during a Gilmore Girls marathon.

In this episode, Lorelai and Christopher take G.G., Christopher's daughter, to visit her Mother, Sherri, in Paris. Lorelai and Christopher fight terrible jet lag, even though it's not that far away. I've been on a seventeen hour plane flight. After that you will have jet lag. Anyway, they can't fight it and go to sleep. They wake up in the middle of the early morning, when nothing's open. In the end Christopher bribes a restaurant to open, to try and make it romantic. It just makes me want to vomit. Meanwhile, Rory reign as the editor-in-chief at the Yale Daily News has come to an end. She and her new friends, Olivia and Lucy, all go to Stars Hollow for a girls night. They dye their hair funny colors and then Rory gets very upset.

Overall, I give this episode a 6 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Good.

Gilmore Girls has spiraled downward since she left

Warning: Spoilers
It took Palladino 7 years to bring Luke and Lorelai together, and the result was that the audience loved the duo. It took the new producer, Rosenthal, 2 months to get Lorelai and Christopher married and talking about kids. Already, everyone is hating the show. If you ask the producers of Friends how they made such a successful show they will tell you that timing is everything! But that's not the only thing about the show that has turned it into the worst series. The script also has been flat, and boring. Everyone used to love the show for its script. The little stories that Lorelai and Rory told each other, often containing information about various music bands made the show unique. It's true that in the sixth season it was beginning to become more like a soap opera, but its script was still fun and entertaining. The new producer has not been able to write the way Palladino used to (except when he shows Kirk. That is still funny). Gilmore Girls is losing its fans for one reason only, because Palladino is not writing the script!!!

Warning: Spoilers
One of the worst episodes of Gilmore Girls. Christopher and Lorelai take Gigi to Paris to visit her mother only for them to end up getting married. Without Rory there. Or Sookie or anyone. So crazy and unrealistic.

Meanwhile, Lane finds out she's having twins! Yay! And Mrs Kim is always a delight.

Rory finally meets her annoying friends "boy friend!" and guess what, it's Marty. Ha! He pretends he doesn't know Rory and she just goes along with it? What? This episode is just super crazy and I'll be glad when Christopher & the new friends are out of the picture.

Warning: Spoilers
So Lorelai doesnt want to marry Luke after a looong wait, but then when Chris, who she ofcourse went to fk with after breakup with Luke, asks to marry him she says yes.

BTW, I believe Europe has a bit more stricter laws about getting married, this is not Vegas.

This season is subpar. Last episode I had to ffw few times coz I couldnt bare to watch those humiliating moments with Gilmore girls doing stupid things.

Nobody ever got married in France in a church! Or in a weekend.

Warning: Spoilers
Ridiculous episode. The only place where you can get married in France is a mairie (townhall). Even if you're French, the mayor needs to publish the bans at least 10 days before the wedding. If you're not, one of you have to reside in the town for at least a month.

Not French, bad twist

OK, how can I say that nicely? I'm French and I'm almost happy to find out this episode is the lowest rated ever. I love Gilmore Girls with all my heart but why did they decide to rebuild Paris in the 70's? Have you seen the cars in those cardboard cut-out streets? It's a shame. If you want to make it realistic, do it properly. And I'm not even talking about what happens in this episode. That does not save the whole bad Paris move at all. This season is really not the best in my opinion.

AHhh! Horrible!

Warning: Spoilers
I got Season 7 for Christmas. I refuse to watch TV shows as they come out on TV, so I waited until it came out on DVD. I then proceeded to watch the previous 6 seasons so that I could be fully reminisce about Season 7. So far, I've been horrified. Since I haven't seen any further episodes beyond this one, I don't know if Christopher and Lorelai stay together, but I hope to god they don't. EVERYONE loved Luke and Lorelai, and now she's married to Christopher?!? I hope the writers/producers/everybody took into account the reaction of the viewers. Otherwise, I'm going to end up selling the whole season once I'm done with it. Please someone tell me it ends up differently! I have to work like crazy all this week and I won't have time to continue the season! Ahh!

Simply Horrible

Warning: Spoilers
I was disappointed to see what happened in this episode. As Lorelei marries Christopher Haden, I'm sure that a lot of people were upset. After all these years, can it be settled? The drama is supposed to come with Lorlelai and Rory's romantic entanglements. Luke was a welcome suitor, but now Christopher, Rory's real father? Oh no! Other than The Long Morrow, this is for sure the worst Gilmore Girls of all. After a while, people will probably stop being Gilmore Girls fans, and don't care what happens to 7.8 all throughout this season, and if there's a Season 8, they will probably care nothing about it. Thank you, writers and directors, for ruining the best show on TV. I wish I could give it a 0, I hate this episode so much.
