under my skin

I saw this movie at the Springfield, IL film commission meeting. I was very intrigued by the movie and it had me on the edge of my seat. I agree Vito is someone to watch for. Hopefully this movie will be coming out on DVD soon so others can enjoy this movie also. I reminded me of Twigh Light Zone. I think the summary written on this movie was very informing without giving away too much about the movie. The acting was done well and I felt they were good in their parts. I have never meet this young man even though I live in the same area. But, I hope to meet him when he is in the area sometime. I hope Vito gets the recognition he deserves for this movie.

Under My Skin is an intriguing film

UNDER MY SKIN was Vito Lapiccola's debut as a director. What a great film. He directed the two characters so well that you were drawn into the scene right along with them. The movie was well written which made the actors very believable. The music played right into the thrill of the movie and caused goosebumps more than once. It seemed more like a feature length film instead of a short. UNDER MY SKIN was shown at the Route 66 Film Festival and won the Best Thriller Award. Bravo for the director, a young man to keep your eyes on. I understand it has been entered in many other film festivals. Good luck at those. Vito Lapiccola is a name to remember!!

Creepy/intense

I saw this movie at the Route 66 film festival in Springfield Illinois where it won best Thriller. It was very creepy. It seemed to disturb women more than men. There are unforeseen twists that occurred that I won't comment further on. The acting is excellent. The writing toys with the audiences head a bit. Even though it is a short film people I know who saw it were commenting on it even a week after it was screened. Few feature length movies compel people to talk about them for a week. I think Vito Lapicolla is a young director to watch. The entire composition from cinematography to the original scoring of the sound track all come together to bring Sklar's story to life. I think everyone at Route 66 film festival was very impressed by the films production quality.
