This episode was a wonderful set up for the premise of the series. The plot is simple and easy to follow but showcases each of the characters very well. It allows us to get to know each character as well as the dynamics within each couple. It definitely makes you want to watch more of the series. Very funny and very well done.

Brad Garrett steps out of Raymond's shadow
studioAT3 October 2017
Brad Garrett proved for 9 years on 'Everybody Loves Raymond' what a great sitcom performer he is, so it was nice to see him pop up in this show, even if it wasn't the 'Robert spin-off' that way mooted towards the end of 'Raymond's run'.
This is a good pilot episode, that establishes the main characters and the set-up well.
It also tells a decent story too, and there are some funny moments.
I think the wives were slightly less fleshed out than their husbands, but this pilot shows a lot of premise.
