excerpt of childhood
kamapula19 January 2022
The cartoon that scared me as a child and made me laugh with its references to popular films at a more conscious age clearly deserved its place on the animation honor board as a whole. The cartoon pleases us as well as the characters, because they are all different and interesting, with humor that both children and adults like, and also with a meaning that is incredibly deep in some series, so much so that when I remember myself as a child, I remember the moment when I didn't understand what the meaning was? But enough time has passed and this cartoon will never get old for me and will forever evoke a warm feeling of nostalgia.

My favorite Russian animated series!

Everything happened to them. And the best two seasons and the transition to wretched 3D and a full meter in cinema and a bunch of educational branches and even a series cycle with a lot of references to the world of cinema.

Most of them watched the old episodes a long time ago and probably saw the new season. If we take only this set, then there are already > 300 episodes coming out. So here's what to do.

Review the very first season of 2003. There are about a hundred episodes for every taste and theme. There is a place to laugh, there is a place to think. You can even cry. Things happen, you know.

The new season on KP pleases with the appearance of old characters in a classic form, but you need to climb here either if you have already watched the original or ... only in this case.

Although, as an option, you can start with a new season, and then move on to the first one. Then you will look incrementally in terms of quality.

Very Good

I wish this cartoon series (currently there are about 100 of 5-10 minutes episodes) would be dubbed into other languages and shown all over the world. So so funny and interesting! Kids absolutely love it and adults enjoy it too. There are adorable and very well developed characters and very imaginative scripts in every episode. This series must become a classic. You can watch them over and over and over... and in my family (3 kids - 3, 8, 11) we do!

This series is becoming more and more popular among Russian speaking people all over the world, thanks to the Internet. I think if the series would be dubbed into English and released in US and other countries it would have pretty good success.

Even adults will love this classic of animated series

Do you think cartoons are only for children? If you say 'yes', you're absolutely wrong! Even adults can watch Smeshariki because of excellent mix of a variety of genres and moods: from a funny children's cartoon to a drama with deep meaning. As far as I'm concerned, it's a TV classic.

The characters are spherical animals living on beautiful and very detailed land named Romashkovaya Polyana (Chamomile meadow) surrounded by high mountains and an ocean. Each animal has a well-defined and unique character from playful child and elderly animals to crazy scientist and unlucky poet. Every time they have an adventure with an unpredictable ending. Some series are hilarious and some are serious and have a deep meaning that makes you think about life.

Smeshariki is a brilliant animated series with unforgettable soundtrack. How many child cartoons with even rock songs have you seen? The plot explores themes from friendship and love to technical progress and the meaning of life. Unlike many cartoon serials, Smeshariki makes you not only laugh but also think.

All in all, Smeshariki offer viewers gripping and unforgettable stories with a lot of references and hidden meanings. I can't recommend it enough and think every person needs to watch at least a few series of this animation classics.

Russian's Are Strong and Meaningful Story Tellers

Kikoriki is an underrated masterpiece, I even liked it when 4kids dubbed it as GoGoRiki.

The show need to have a strong fanbase outside of it home country (Russia) cause these are likable characters, strong writing and fascinating stories.
