Let's Play Doctor

The vastly underrated director Bud Lee has a load of fun (and so did I watching it) with the Old School sex comedy "Let's Play Doctor", featuring his better half Asia Carrera and a very talented femme supporting cast.

Story has pool boy Evan Stone (every porn stud plays a pool boy from time to time, regardless of his age) impersonating gynecologist Mike Horner while Horner's out of town. He enlists Asia as his nurse and bamboozles sexy femme patients in both amusing and arousing fashion. I've seen oodles of shows that try for this light touch and fail miserably, but Bud and his freewheeling cast bring such joie de vivre to the project that the sex scenes prove irresistible.

So we have little more than a burlesque sketch or dirty joke somehow transformed into nearly an hour and a half of bawdy entertainment, just what Sin City is looking for. It's no accident, as Lee has top screenwriter George Kaplan on the case, and even his cinematographer is a big, big name - Toni English, around the time of her greatest success writing and directing the "Naked Hollywood" series.

Julie Meadows contributes anal sex, and reliably sexy talent like Alexandra Silk, Sydnee Steele and Bridgette Kerkove exhibit rarely used comic ability too.
