A Thorny Problem

James "Grizzly" Adams(Dan Haggerty) is alarmed to learn that his blood brother Nakoma(Don Shanks) has been chosen by his tribe to hunt down and kill a rogue cougar that had been raiding his village, causing havoc. Adams learns that the cougar is an old friend named Sekota that he had raised from a cub, but had let loose. Adams is convinced that Sekota must be in some kind of trouble to do such a bad thing, and tries to convince Nakoma to let him find the cougar first, and discover the problem, which is exactly what he does. Fine episode shows the value of having faith in your friends, whether they be human or animal, and helping them in their time of need.
