Clever short film
niki09-128 September 2006
A clever first production from Squareyed Productions. The story of a man looking for his true love, having a hand in a jar and looking for its owner, and a young girl reveals a prophecy to the woman who her true love will be.

Set in the 1800's, the color short film examines the interaction of two young people linked oddly by a hand in a jar, that the man believes belongs to his true love. The meeting of the two is followed by mayhem as a mad co-worker of the girl chases her, believing that he should be the one who should have her favors.

The short film won the directors, Sarah Jane Woulahan and Sean Gilligan, the best film for 2001 at the Queensland Young Filmmakers competition. The film won Michelle Southeren Best Set Design Award in the same competition.

The film is popular in Australia and Europe.
