I feel like this episode is a under rated gem in television. I love the episode's plot of showing the growing potential friendship between Shawn and his former classmate, and how she feels like he had finally grown up. Then you feel like they are getting ready to bury the hatchet over what happened. Then you realize at the one yard line, Shan fumbles at the whole thing. This perfectly summarized a lot of his maturation arc in the show. Where he seems to be genuinely trying to make things better, and to improve, but personal things about him always bring it down at the end. This episode basically is the perfect stepping stone of seeing Shawn go through this 8 year long process.
