Intriguing, well-plotted episode is badly marred by the inane opening...

... which asserts Veronica should have known Parker was being r**ed despite the absence of anything like evidence to that effect. Good episode for Wallace and Logan as part of a prisoners-and-guards sociology experiment, and Keith shines as the desert pursuee. The series does well in giving all its featured cast interesting scenes and scenarios to play while Bell fares less well in Season 3, unable to bring much warmth to Veronica as she falls into bitterness, fear, and mistrust.
