There is an alternate ending of Krusty Towers that had been storyboarded and played through as an animatic. It contained Mr. Krabs apologizing to Squidward in the hospital and Squidward making a sarcastic remark. The remark had not been voiced over yet so there's no telling what it could have been. Unless somehow the original script turns up.
