After the disastrous comedies Pinay Pie and Can This Be Love, and horrors Spirit of the Glass, Kutob and Matakot Ka Sa Karma, Jose Javier Reyes continues how bad he is in making films.
Written and directed by "Joey Reyes", I Wanna Be Happy is another film with bad directing and half-baked screenplay saved by good acting. The story is basically an old married couple having difficulties in their marriage - great(!) The film's acting, especially from Eddia Garcia, Cherry Pie Picache and Gloria Romero, made this film for me bearable to watch. More films is about to come from "Joey Reyes" that will prove that he is the most over-rated director in the Philippines.
