In December, 2004 a team of fans pooled their collective skills and resources to create a fan film with the intention of trying to get it in front of the eyes of their hero, George Lucas. We decided that the best way to do this was by entering into the 2005 AtomFilms Star Wars Fan Film Contest.
Every member of the production team pushed themselves beyond their personal limits and as a result, IMPERIAL CHOPPER was created. We submitted the film to Atom and were informed that we were a finalist in the 2005 contest. We knew that George Lucas personally reviews each film that makes it to the finals, so we celebrated. We had achieved our goal. Or so we thought.
Unfortunately, due to some problems, we were not able to get it entered into the contest, so we had it hosted by TheForce.Net
IMPERIAL CHOPPER is a fanfilm parody of the hit cable series "American Chopper". It is hilarious and has a good production quality.
