According to "Halloween 1977" Jim Lahey resigned from the police force after Halloween in 1977. However, in "The Delusions of officer Jim Lahey" it's mentioned that particular day was the anniversary of the day Lahey left the police force. Bubbles is quoted as saying "It's not Halloween yet." Despite the fact Halloween is when Lahey left the police force.
