Shot on Hi8 and then converted in post production to MiniDV before being blown up to 35mm for festival screenings.
The production's entire budget, prior to editing, cost just three thousand pounds. The actors and crew were paid only their expenses during production.

The cast is comprised of professional actors in the roles of the parents and young first time actors in the teenage roles, most of which came straight off the streets of Swansea and Newport, South Wales.
