Another highlight of the season.

Sometimes the show could really push the envelope, and I love that about it. Gabby rejecting potential surrogate mothers, because they were too ugly, was hysterical. I love how unapologetic she can be. Some might say she's immoral, but it goes perfectly with her character, and gives it complexity. I also love how twisted characters could be. Karl destroying Susan's relationship with that lightweight surgeon, was great. And his little squabble with Mike, was also funny. Bree's kids are awful, but Andrew's deviousness is incredible. And I also love how writers managed to not make him look like a stereotypical bad guy. Like I said on my previous review, the writing was all kinds of wonderful, and it's surprising how the show could be both light and thoughtful, at the same time. The part with Lynette's new star employee, made for hilarious moments, and there too, it was handled in good measures. True the Applewhites are on sidelines, lately. But there were too many juicy storylines involving the leads, to let that opportunity pass. Another thing I love about the episode, was how « Young » free it is. Kristin Bauer's scenes. Bree stuck between the gates. And the way the voiceovers emphasized once again, all its subject matters. And hinted at even more addicting plots.
