Gives you faith in low budgets
blinktwiceyes6 April 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I recently saw this movie, and I must say, at first I was skeptical. I heard that it was really low budget and I expected it to be low quality as well. When I was finished watching it, I was more than happy to admit I was wrong. This movie makes you forget about how low budget it was because unlike a lot of Hollywood studio movies, this film was actually FUNNY!! The acting was pretty good all around, I really enjoyed the dialogue between the two lead characters, and I also enjoyed some of the crazy people they encounter along their adventure. So, if you're looking to have your faith restored in the low budget comedy scene, I can recommend this original little story.

If you thought the great American indie was dead...

...then you must do anything you can to get your hands on a copy of this thoroughly original film.

The story of Stevie and his ill-conceived plan to stash a corpse in the trunk of his best friend's car--lest people mistakenly think he had anything to do with the murder--reminds you that there used to be incredible, intelligent, low-budget independent films that never aspired to be any bigger than they were and always merited the price of admission more than seven-figure productions.

I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes quirky comedy or appreciates inventive cinema.

I really enjoyed this film!

What great little low budget comedy. I wasn't sure what I was getting into at first when I decided to see it. I Thought I'd walk out if I didn't like it. I really Liked this movie! It was very fresh and now with a young-hip feel to it. This Jim Petragallo guy is a future writing star as well as a solid actor, I can see the raw talent in him as well as most of the cast, I'd like to see what they can do with a big-budget if they ever had one? And the guy playing the crazy Detective Farrell I think his name is Joe Ricci, where's this guy been hiding, is that voice for real or what? What a great character. Why don't I see him in bigger movies? I Saw this at a film festival in LA, when or where can I buy the video/DVD?
