All glory to the Hypnotoad!!
Tweekums20 May 2012
Warning: Spoilers
This episode opens with a planet being destroyed by a swarm of giant brains; the action then moves to Earth where the crew are attending a pet competition. Leela has entered Nibbler but he doesn't perform well; in fact he is judged the stupidest pet ion the show! When the brains reach Earth we learn that Nibbler is far from stupid; he is part of a race that is even older than the universe and only acts stupid so he can observe the goings on on Earth. Leela is shocked to see him getting into a tiny spaceship and as the brains arrive he takes her to his home world at the centre of the universe. There she learns that there is only one person in the universe that is impervious to the brains' stupefying effects... that person is Fry! She must return to Earth and tell him what to do... something that won't be easy as she will become stupid as she nears the brains.

This was a good episode; the opening scenes in the pet show provided plenty of laughs and introduced us to the Hypnotoad! The various exotic pets provided some good laughs as did the sight of Bender whipping Zoidberg around the pet obstacle course. The main story about the brains was entertaining; mostly because it taught us about Nibbler and the Nibblonians... they are so cute... especially when they are denying it. The final scenes as Fry battles the 'Big Brain' were pretty funny too; I won't spoil how he does it though!

Awesome humor, style and SCiFi adventures!

This is definitely one of the best episodes in the entire series, personally my second favorite after Late Philip J. Fry(6x7). It starts with a destruction of a planet by huge explosion caused by flying brains, which make people stupid, and now It's Earth's turn... Leela goes on a journey to the Center of the universe to find out how to save the planet, and creatures who she thought were dumb reveal their true forms, as a dominant race of on the entire universe, they tell her that only one person can save Earth and guess who is that..

This episode is so action filled, atmospheric and funny, that you won't get bored during watching it, I recommend to everyone !

The One With Giant Floating Brains...

Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this episode. It's so great. It's one of my all-time favorite episodes from this season, and the entire series.

In this episode, giant floating brains invade the planet, and there's only one person who can fix the problem. Fry. That's right, Fry. The person you'd think least capable, has to work with Nibbler, who's actually a super intelligent, yet adorable, alien, who was sent to guard Fry for when the brains inevitably attacked. Also, he's the one who pushed Fry into the freezer, and got him sent to the year 3000. Anyway, so Fry teams up with Nibbler, and eventually stops the giant brains, only to have his memory erased by the adorable weird-eyed creature.

Title card: 80% Entertainment by volume.

Fun fact: It is explained that Fry has no Delta brain waves, which is later explained when we learn he went to the past, and became is own grandfather.

Best part of the episode: Everything

Worst part of the episode:

Overall, I give this episode a 10, which in my ratings book is: Freaking Ridonkulous.
