Joxer the mighty, just when the bell tolls!!

For giving more space for the Xena's sidekick and developing process of the frightened Joxer, Xena is aptly summons to aid for a special mission alone, letting Gabrielle and Joxer alone for a while, suddenly appears Queen Aphrodite spelling Joxer to avoid a marriage between two Kingdom enemies that at last have a peaceful agreement between them, after so many exhaustive and cos-intensives wars, thus both kings acknowledge that the final settlement is get marry they son and daughter towards a lasting peace.

Aphrodite believes that both kings are willing get ride of Aphrodite temple of they kingdom, soon appear his son Cupid trying out persuades her that it is devoid of any fair reason, even so she uses her spell in Joxer somehow mesmerizing princess Ileandra falling in love for the unbeatable Joxer at fight, the suitor Sarpedon isn't no match for Joxer's dexterity, although when the bell tolls Joxer return be yourself wimp and faltering, in these both behavior the story unfolding, Gabrielle already downcast has a sassy idea that will ceasing the animosities for good, Xena in absent in episode gives another outlook in the supporting casting, becoming fresh and amusing, should be more episodes alike, utterly enjoyable!!

This is another Xena lite episode as she was still recovering from her injuries.

Gabrielle is on her own and she is joined by Joxer. They have a discussion about sidekicks without heros.

Rather apt as Joxer becomes a hero thanks to a spell put on him by Aphrodite. She is having a tussle with her son Cupid (Karl Urban) over an impending royal marriage.

The heroic Joxer steals the princess's out which makes her fiance, another royal prince jealous.

It is another comedy episode and it is nice to see Joxer the heroic who suddenly can become, normal Joxer. It is all to do with the sound of the bells.

For most viewers, either Aphrodite or Cupid would be suitable eye candy.
