  Morph : Destroy the X-Men? No!

  [shapeshifts into Cyclops, Storm and Wolverine] 

  Morph : They're my friends!

  Mr. Sinister : But friends don't betray friends, Morph. They don't abandon them!

  Morph : [shapeshifts into his evil side]  No. But two are missing! I sent them... I sent them...

  Mr. Sinister : Somewhere very romantic. But Cyclops and Jean Grey are mine!

• Wolverine : You wouldn't leave without saying goodbye.

  Morph : [draws gun]  Goodbye.

• Morph : Yoo-hoo! Lovebirds?

  [chuckling] 

  Morph : Come out, come out, wherever you are!

  [sees Scott and Jean's wrecked sailboat; clicking tongue] 

  Morph : Looks like old Cyke needs some sailing lessons.

• Wolverine : I know you feel betrayed, Morph. After we were whipped by the Sentinels, I tried to make Cyclops go back for you and Beast.

  [Wolverine disarms Morph and knocks him down] 

  Wolverine : Cyclops had to leave you behind to save the rest of us. Maybe he was wrong, but that's no reason for revenge.

  Morph : Who are you trying to convince? Me

  [shapeshifts into Wolverine] 

  Wolverine : Or yourself?

• Cyclops : Morph! You're alive!

  Morph : And you're married, or are you?

  [shapeshifts into minister] 

  Morph : I now pronounce you betrayer and betrayess.

  Cyclops : Is this some kind of sick joke?

  Morph : It wasn't a sick joke when you left me to die! How do you like feeling your last seconds on Earth ticking away?

  Jean Grey : No, Morph! Cyclops did what he had to do for the good of the team-what you would have done in his place.

  Morph : That's easy for you to say. He's never left you behind!

  Mr. Sinister : Shoot him, and I destroy you!

  Morph : You again! Who are you?

  Mr. Sinister : You know who I am, Morph. Think. Remember.

  Morph : I can't! I can't!

  [screams; flashback] 

  Mr. Sinister : [narration]  I found you lying lifeless outside the mutant registration headquarters. After your friends had deserted you, I healed your broken body. I gave you new life, but your mind was beyond repair. You became two people. The one you would recognize as Morph, and the one who interested me, the one who wanted revenge on his betrayer!

  Morph : I remember!
