Ryan Stiles : [in "Whose Line"]
[reading pre-written note]
Ryan Stiles : "Your fanny is a masterpiece!"
-
Ryan Stiles : [in "Greatest Hits", about songs of Rome] Hey, Colin.
Colin Mochrie : Hey, Ryan.
Ryan Stiles : What do you call an Italian nomad?
Colin Mochrie : A wanderer?
Ryan Stiles : No. He's a-Roman.
[laughs]
Ryan Stiles : And you know... we've assembled fifty-two songs on fifty-two CDs, all about the wonderful city of Rome, a place I've never been.
Colin Mochrie : No, but we've heard about it, we've read about it.
Ryan Stiles : Oh have we. Oh, it's been around for... a hundred years.
Colin Mochrie : At least. And backwards, it's "Emor".
Ryan Stiles : I didn't know that.
Colin Mochrie : Little fun fact.
Ryan Stiles : Did you know "embargo" backwards is "o grab me"?
Colin Mochrie : Boy, you thought of that one a long time ago. You know, I know you weren't around the swing era, but... I bet you grew up watching a lot of television.
Ryan Stiles : I did indeed.
Colin Mochrie : And you know what? A lot of television stars made the switch from television to recording artists.
Ryan Stiles : Huh. In the "swing thing".
Colin Mochrie : No, that has nothing to do with the swing thing.
Ryan Stiles : Oh, I'm sorry.
Colin Mochrie : That was just, like, a little fun fact.
Ryan Stiles : Oh.
Colin Mochrie : People like William Shatner, David Soul, John Travolta, all had hit records.
Ryan Stiles : [confused] And they all swing?
Colin Mochrie : [sighs] You watched WAY too much television, didn't ya?
Ryan Stiles : Told ya.
Colin Mochrie : I know, Gilligan. You know...
[audience laughs]
Colin Mochrie : But one of the most successful... going from television, to recording...
Ryan Stiles : NOW I see where you're heading. Okay.
Colin Mochrie : All right. Is, of course, "The Brady Bunch".
[audience cheers]
Ryan Stiles : Oh.
[mimes being in the different TV screens in the intro]
Ryan Stiles : I had the hots for Alice.
Colin Mochrie : Oh, I know.
[makes a disturbed look to the camera; he starts to talk but hesitates]
Colin Mochrie : ... Sorry, I was just working with the visual.

Ryan Stiles : [in "Irish Drinking Song", about falling out of the car with a woman]
[singing]
Ryan Stiles : Oh, finally she forgave me.
Wayne Brady : [singing] Now, we're married.
Chip Esten : [singing] She can almost walk now.
Colin Mochrie : [singing] Boy, we are not harried.
Ryan Stiles : [singing] That's a day we'll never forget.
Wayne Brady : [singing] We... will not.
Chip Esten : [singing] And every night we drive...
Colin Mochrie : [singing] ... She has gravel in her snot.
