An early draft of the script for this episode finds Walker painting half of the nursery pink-with-blue-trim, and the other half blue-with-pink-trim...just to "be on the safe side", when Alex's obstetrician refuses to tell him the new baby's gender. Ultimately, when Alex sees the nursery, she is enraged and claws into the obstetrician for letting it slip that she's expecting TWINS! Walker has to turn away and pull his hat over his face. Said twins, upon birth, were to to be named Alexander and Cordelia...after their parents (which would have doubled as a reference to *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*).
