Episode: #3.7, Jimmy attempts to break into Kim's apartment to retrieve Joey. She doesn't unlatch the safety chain, which he causes to unhinge partially, as seen from his hallway perspective. Yet, from within, the safety chain latch remains flush with the woodwork, hence unscathed.
