A club house for mad men?

Warning: Spoilers
Paris is under the rule of the mob, and Dr. Pinel, a doctor in a mental institution (Robert Ellenstein) is upset by the treatment of patients who are being treated inhumanely. He finds himself up against the head of the asylum (Hector Paiva) which brings about the mob already already filled with fury, and this incites violence against him. This true story set during the French Revolution is not one of MGM's John Nesbitt Passing Parade, but an episode of an Anthology series where this episode is very much in the vein of those shorts. John Alderson is one of the patients he treats, seemingly beyond curing, acting with Fury when he is pulled out of his cell after years in confinement. His first day of sunlight bring some light about him, and as a result, when the doctor is in trouble, it's him who comes to his rescue, and as a result, psychiatric treatments of the mentally ill began to change. A touching, educational episode that really makes an impact but should be more detailed.
