- A man terrifies his two business owner friends by tying a skeleton doll with goofy buck teeth to a string and moaning while he pulls it along.
- A man talks about how he spanked his son with his belt repeatedly, to "toughen him up enough to beat him at his game".
- A man threatens to shut another man's farm down unless he allows his son to go to his haunted house and search for IOU's. It is stated that Hackles, who sets up the house on his own and the game for children, is either hurting the children or doing something cruel to them. Later on he scares a little girl so bad that she runs out of her mother's arms and down the street to escape him. Hackles also scares a little boy with a large bear hunting trophy.
- Hackles winds up trapped in hell, with people moaning and being tortured and Satan in the front of it all. Later on, Hackles' gravestone mysteriously pops up automatically in the town cemetery.
