- On the planet Argos, Kynthia seduces Colonel O'Neill, which gives him an Argosian lifespan of only a 100 days. As he begins to age rapidly, will the SG-1 team succeed in finding a cure?
- On planet Argos SG-1 arrives at a stargate inside the Mycenean temple of the mythical founding hero Pelops, whose return is awaited. There Daniel delivers the baby of a Chosen couple. After eating a piece of the special cake at the celebration, Jack wakes up, having laid with Kynthia. At sunset all natives fall into a deep sleep. Teal'c and Daniel discover a temple archive in linear A, a Minoan era script which is an archaic goa'uld dialect. The team finds the life cycle on Argos is incredibly fastened: factor 250, as a genetic experiment set up by Pelops. It must be somehow contagious, as Jack also starts to age terrifyingly fast. Dr. Fraser and Sam find it's something in the blood, but not a virus: replicators, and Jack has more of them: he's aging even faster, to die in about two weeks. Finally Jack investigates the importance of Pelops' first law that nobody may leave the village and it's link with a goa'uld device found when his statue breaks...—KGF Vissers
- The SG-1 team travels to an idyllic planet, Argos, where everyone is youthful and attractive and seem to live a life of play and self-gratification. They find architecture that is reminiscent of ancient Greece but also symbols from a very old Goa'uld text that Teal'c has difficulty translating. On arrival, they even help a pregnant woman give birth and they are treated as friends. Jack O'Neill catches the eye of a very beautiful Argosian, Kynthia, who offers him cake and with whom he spends the night. They realize the next day that something is wrong. The child born the previous day has aged considerably and they are told that the inhabitants only live to be 100 days old. Having spent the night with Kynthia, O'Neill seems to have acquired a virus of some sort and is also aging rapidly. It's left to Sam Carter and Dr. Fraiser to find a way to stop his rapid aging before he dies.—garykmcd
