Geordi asks Taurik to fire a 4-second phaser burst at a shuttle. When he actually fires it is just a split-second shot.
At 11:46 Ben says that Riker is Canadian. Riker was born in Alaska which is part of the United States of America.
This is consistent with Ben spreading incorrect information/rumors. It leads to Lavelle asking Riker if he was Canadian, to which he replies that he is not, he is from Alaska.
When Geordi leaves the poker game, he stops in front of a door. The Enterprise doors usually automatically open at someone's presence, but they wait for Geordi to deliver his dialogue before opening.
At various times, La Forge, Worf, Crusher, are referred to as a person's commanding officer. There is only one Commanding Officer and that is Capt. Picard. They would more properly be referred to as Division Officer or Department Officer. Crusher is head of the Medical Department and La Forge is head of the Engineering Department. Worf would most likely be a Division Officer as head of the Security Division which would fall under the Executive Department usually headed by the Executive Officer, Cdr Riker.
When Ensign Sito sits in the Ops position after the battle simulation, a wooden wedge can be seen bracing the base of the seat.
Picard tells Ensign Sito that she will get back to Federation space using the shuttle's escape pod. However, shuttle craft are small and do not have escape pods.
When the Alpha shift is relieved Riker says the time is twelve hundred hours, which is noon. Alpha shift usually comes on duty at oh-seven hundred hours (7 a.m.) so it is unlikely they would be relieved of duty after only five hours.
Worf tells Sito that she must pass a gik'tal challenge to move into his advanced martial arts class. He uses a Klingon word to hide his true intention to rile her up so she'll stand up for herself. After she does, she reveals that she knows "gik'tal" means "to the death", revealing that Worf made up the challenge.
Since Federation comm badges have built-in universal translators, Worf saying "gik'tal" would've been translated from the start.

In the junior officer's poker game, Ben bluffs Ensign Lavelle with a king, jack, ten, and an eight showing. Lavelle has two sevens and two sixes. Regardless of what Ben's fifth card is, Lavelle beats him with two pair. (Ben cannot get a straight flush as both a queen and a nine are missing.)
When Captain Picard arrives on the bridge at the start, he orders Riker, Data and Worf to accompany him to the observation lounge. This means that the Captain, First Officer, Second Officer and Head of Security have left the bridge and only two ensigns remain.
After the ensign is ordered to return to the original heading (about six minutes in), the ensign replies, "Aye, aye, sir!" Riker then admonishes him with "One 'aye' will be sufficient, ensign." This is incorrect. "Aye, sir" is used when agreeing with or replying to a senior officer. "Aye, aye, sir!" is used when acknowledging an order.
Sito said the incident at the Academy she was involved in happened three years ago. But The First Duty (1992) happened only two years ago, according to the Trek time-line.
It would be difficult for Levelle (who is wearing a red uniform, for Command) to be up for the same position as Sito, who wears a a yellow (Operations) uniform.
