Not too bad, a little weird

For reasons someone explained in this episode's trivia, Martin Landau and Catherine Schell weren't directly involved in shooting it. As a result, Tony and Alan play leading roles which is a refreshing change of pace.

Pretty good drama between Alpha and the Alien villains. Kind of hate to say it, but the dynamic between Carter and Etrec hasn't aged well.

it's okay...

The show begins with Allen and some other guy in a cave on the Moon cutting away rock with what looks EXACTLY like a cheap telescope with a flashlight embedded in it! Talk about cheap! Well, regardless, inside the rock are a couple aliens that look a lot like ancient Assyrians (ask a history teacher if you don't know what I mean). Oddly, these aliens are alive--in some odd sort of cryogenic-like suspension. Why they are still alive and entombed like this not readily apparent. Tune in to find out more...if you'd like.

All in all, it's a fair episode--neither particularly good nor bad. However, there was one poor portion. Take a good look at the meteor scenes with Koenig and Maya in an Eagle. Despite great special effects in most of season one, here in season two, things were, at times, getting very, very cheesy. In fact, in this particular case, I'd say just plain bad!

watchable but with nothing memorable to it

Warning: Spoilers
The story works but could have done with a little bit more to it, the basic idea behind it is a little too straightforward. The absence of martin landau and catherine schell is felt as the story might have improved a little by their presence. There is some tension in the scenes where an innocent child starts to become a killer.
