Alpha launches Eagle 4 which is a Rescue Eagle, differentiated by its red stripes on the pod. When Kelly takes a spacewalk, the red stripes are missing.
When they have the "meteorite" in the lab (on a pedestal no less), they are amazed that it weighs 328 tons. How did they get it onto the pedestal without a crane or some such which could handle that kind of mass? Also, a mass of 328 tons would not weigh as much as that in the moon's 1/6 gravity.
Koenig docks the starboard side of his ship to the port side of the "nuclear" Eagle (the ships are side-by-side with Koenig's Eagle on the left), but when Koenig releases the "nuclear" Eagle to crash into the lunar surface, it's the ship on the left-hand side that crashes.
Melita Kelly, for some reason, addresses her husband by his last name (Kelly) rather than his first name (James).
Commander Koenig instructs Alan Carter to set the computer to detonate the nuclear charges at "1845" but Carter punches "1574" into the keypad and then tells the Commander, "Destruct mechanism set for 1845."
