We are introduced to Butters crazy family.... in a truely classic south park way....

Great episode, despite hardly having the main boys

Like the episodes "Pip" or "Not Without My Anus", this episode does not have much of the four main boys. The episode focuses on the character "Butters", who would be Kenny's replacement during the first half of Season 6. In my opinion it's better than "Pip" was and is a very messed up and funny episode. Butters lives with his parents in a happy home. The parents anniversary is coming up and Butters decides to spy on his dad to see what he is getting his mom. So he follows, taking pictures and notices he goes into a gay bath house and a gay-porn movie theater. He is oblivious to this and takes the pictures to his mother. His mother then goes insane and tries to kill Butters by drowning him in the lake. Butters then goes on an adventure back home, oblivious that his mother tried to kill him. Meanwhile, his mother and father forgave each other after a long talk and came up with a story that Butters was kidnapped by some Puerto Rican guy, spoofing such murder cases as the ones of OJ Simpson's wife and JonBenet Ramsey, who both make appearances in this episode and say there loved one was killed by a Puerto Rican guy. This is a very funny and entertaining episode, and I really enjoyed it despite not having the four main boys.

I watched this episode when I was 10 years old. Was funny then and still funny now! This episode introduced me to butters for the first time and it was so funny. It's dark, funny, and doesnt focus on the main 4 boys but it's still butters his gullible self is so funny!

Uh but it must have been a real short movie, though, because Dad came out, like, ten minutes later. ...And it must have been a sad film, too, because, he had a bunch of tissue paper with him when he came out. Poor old Dad, the movie really got to him. Inspector Butters gets all the facts. I even got some neato pictures. Holds them up for his mom to see. She walks over and takes them from him. She sees her husband gong into the theater, then into the spa, then being rammed by a man from behind... The only thing I can't figure out is why dad told you he was goin' shoppin' for your present when he was goin' out to see the movies an' wrestlin'. His mom faints right to the floor Oh, did you have a nice "trip," Mom? See you next "fall." Hahaha, yo- Ma?
