When Steve visits the toy shop, the then-popular Steve Austin action figure is clearly visible on the store shelves.

Goofs
The latch that Steve supposedly breaks to get into the miser's house simply bends and then springs back again when the door swings open, obviously showing that it's just a rubber-like material colored with brass-colored paint.

Scrooge ripoff

Ray Walston plays a scrooge like character while Dick Sargent plays his nephew who is under a lot of pressure from his uncle. Steve Austin helps Dick & his family out during Xmas. The actual plot is quite weak. Adam Rich plays the son (before his Eight is Enough days) & Quinn Cummings (before starring on Family) plays the older sister. The youngest sister doesn't have a cast credit.
