Carrie is taken with her romantic Berger, except when it comes to taking her in bed, and admits it to the other girls in the vegan restaurant where the cooking is so light it deserves the name Raw (but restaurant?)- where Samantha dragged them just because the waiter is too hot to miss out on.—KGF Vissers

Carrie and Berger's dates sizzle in the restaurant, and when they go shopping for shower curtains. Jack is a great talker and charmer. The kisses are awesome and alluring. But it fizzles in the bedroom as there is no sexual chemistry. The sex is awkward and without any sort of passion. According to Carrie, the sex was "quiet". Carrie tells the girls that the sex was so quiet that at one point she heard the M11 bus. She heard the doors open and people getting off. Miranda tells Carrie that this is the first time and sometimes one has to work at it. Miranda says that maybe Carrie was disappointed as her expectations were too high.

It remains so despite multiple attempts by Carrie. After talking to Samantha, Carrie tries dirty talk and lingerie. She has a nagging thought that maybe Berger thinks that the sex is actually good. Carrie gets drunk on the next date and they both pass out before they can get to sex. The next morning Jack admits he is bad at sex with Carrie. Jack admits to choking. That day, they have sex like rabbits and its hot.

Miranda becomes addicted to a British show featuring an interracial romance. She records the show on TiVo and watches it at night. Miranda believes that TiVo is her perfect boyfriend, since it never disappoints her. But one day, Magda (Lynn Cohen) accidentally messes with the recording function and the episode is not recorded. Miranda is heartbroken. TiVo tech support is not able to help fix the problem. Steve comes by and fixes the problem and TiVo is working again.

A tenacious Charlotte pursues converting to Hebrew for Harry. She announces her plan to the girls, who are shocked. Charlotte meets a rabbi who tells her that Hebrews are not interested in converting people. Harry tells her, they intentionally make it tough for people to convert. Charlotte barges into the rabbi's house during a Sabbath lunch. She declares her love for Harry and says she needs babies and doesn't have time for games. The Rabbi asks her to attend lunch with his family and observe.

Samantha and the girls go to a cold-food restaurant "Raw" where Samantha meets hot waiter Jerry Jerrod (Jason Lewis). The food is really bad. The food is Vegan non-dairy, and nothing is cooked above 118 degrees. Which basically means raw vegetables.

Samantha goes again a following night, alone, with the intention of seducing Jerry and having sex with him that night. She even goes lingerie shopping. She returns to the restaurant to get his attention and finds out that she is not alone in lusting for Jerry. All the hot girls are seated in his section. Samantha waits it out for 4 hours and for 4 uncooked meals till many women leave and it is between her and another female customer who are both seducing Jerry. Samantha scares off her competitor by talking to her directly and leaves for home with Jerry. Samantha gets her sex. Jerry admits to Samantha that she didn't have to order all that food waiting for him, he was ready to go home with her on the night she first came in.
