Carrie agrees to a reunion to see how her high-school crush -whom she dumped- is, and finds Jeremy got even more attractive. Back in hot Manhattan Samantha can't get through the waiting list for Soho House club which has a pool with service, but picks up someone's forgotten pass.—KGF Vissers

Carrie's high-school sweetheart Jeremy (David Duchovny) visits her in New York. Jeremy has been married and divorced since they met the last time. Things are looking up when they end up kissing each other. But just as they are about to sleep together, Jeremy reveals that he is on his way to a mental asylum in Connecticut. It is voluntary and is more therapeutic than committed. Carrie talks it over with the girls. She says that she and Jeremy were together in high school, but at that time she believed that there had to be better guys out there. She ends up having sex with Jeremy the next time he comes over. Jeremy goes away for 8-10 months. Carrie goes to meet Jeremy at the asylum to give him company and to have a picnic with him. Jeremy tells her that they should probably not start anything serious as he is going to be away for a longish period of time.

Miranda develops a crush on her attractive neighbor Robert, the team doctor for the Knicks. Robert invites Miranda to a Knicks game, where Miranda eyes Robert checking out a cheerleader and is jealous. After the game, Miranda finds Robert having a chat with the cheerleader and even sharing a hug with her. But later Robert reaches out to Miranda and tells her that he likes her. They have sex.

Stanford runs into Anthony again when he was having lunch with Charlotte. Stanford again uses the opportunity to rub Marcus in Anthony's face. Anthony tells Charlotte that Stanford's boyfriend Marcus used to be a gay escort named Paul. Eventually Stanford finds out from Charlotte. Marcus explained that he only did it to finance his dance classes. Stanford says he's so dismayed by the secrecy that he instantly dumped Marcus. Marcus pursues Stanford and is not willing to give up. Stanford is pacified when Marcus says that he never slept with Anthony. The two quickly make up.

It is hot summer, and Samantha can't get into a pool at the SoHo house, which is a block away from her apartment. Her friend Phoebe (Geri Halliwell) reminds her of that, when she heads to the pool in front of Samantha. Samantha tries to get a membership, but the house is full and is not admitting any new members. The waiting list is way too long to be of any help to Samantha and her immediate issues with the heat. In order to get into an exclusive pool at the SoHo House, Samantha pretends to be a member - and British. While at the restroom of the club (she visited to inquire about her member status), she found a stray club card, belonging to Annabelle Bronstein. The following day she uses Annabelle's card to sneak into the club, relaxes in the delicious looking pool on a Floatie, and keeps suspicion to a minimum by paying cash for her drinks.

Samantha brings the girls to enjoy the pool. A waiter comes by to ask which one of them is [claiming to be] Annabelle Bronstein. Samantha says she is - but the waiter says that's impossible, since Annabelle is currently in London. Samantha tries to defend her impersonation, but it is clear that the jig is up and she has to leave.
