    The First Cinemax Show

Guy Caballero introduces the new SCTV format, now on cable.

There is a funny "Risky Business" take off with Martin Short as Tom Cruise waiting for the arrival of his older woman date. It turns out to be Mrs Prickley who does a hilarious version of "Old Time Rock 'n' Roll". Tom has a friend over and Edith's sister Edna Boil is his date.

John Candy shows up as actor Steve Roman, plugging his mini series "JFK My Way". Roman attempts to do JFK's Massachusetts accent but sounds more Swedish. Andrea Martin plays Liz Torres playing Jackie Kennedy and she lapses into a Puerto Rican accent.

Levy and Short play a pair of gay newscasters Soren and Weiss who talk about current events, giving scale of 1 to 10 ratings and saying what they think is "BORING!".

There is a great Happy Wanderers sketch and Stan and Yosh try out new wave 80's music. They do a polka of "Billie Jean". They show a very funny parody of videos with their new song "Power To The Punk People Polka".

A very funny commercial parody of Calvin Klein jeans has Andrea on the floor in her jeans talking about coughing up a fish bone.

Melonville Calendar is about a school fire with Joe Flaherty as the fire captain.

There is a hilarious new Sammy Maudlin sketch called "Maudlin O' The Night". He is dressed like Michael Jackson, does some dances moves, hurts himself doing a split, he later needs some oxygen. He has a cast of "zanies". Short plays an annoying improvisational comic who just yells and screams. Andrea plays Jennifer Beals, showing a clip of of her new version of "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof" which has a "Flashdance" scene and a double for her dramatic acting. Levy plays a drunken, angry Henry Kissinger.

It ends with funny promo of "An Office And A Gentile" with Sid Dithers as the drill sergeant. The credits roll.
