No Longer Relatable

What made the Conner family great to watch was the fact they were so relatable. Lower middle class family? Hey, so are we! We understood their struggles. We felt like it might as well be us on the TV screen.

Then they win the lottery? Nope. No way. I guess maybe there were viewers that wanted to this family have some good luck, but the lottery is just too much.

There's no more struggle. There aren't any reasons to pull for them anymore. Welp, they've made it big now so who cares? That is exactly how we felt when the show originally aired in the 90s & exactly how we still feel today.

If you thought the show went off the rails in season 8, that was nothing. Boo.

Jackie runs to the Connors and tells that that they won lottery. They get really excited and celebrate. Then they go to pick up their win and are warned a bit about problems that may come with lottery. They also give an interview on the TV and then have a party where their friends, family and even people they don't know well come.

I loved the scene when Jackie tells them they won lottery! How she runs in and that scream she makes! Them all also getting it was so hilarious, loved it!

My favorite at their party was Leon. What he said was just funny. Hope he gets something as a fun friend that he is .
