The Conners are selected to be a Neilsen Family. I am not sure what a Neilsen Family is but apparently they were given some channels for a study. And Roseanne wanted to change to feel more educated and less white trash so to watch more PBS. And Jackie and Fred decide to get divorced.
This was kind of funny how Roseanne got upset because she thought they considered her stupid. They sure aren't stupid! I love the Connors.
I feel bad for Jackie and Fred. He is a good guy even thought boring as hell. It was obvious they will have to separate. They are wrong for each other. That scene of them eating in silence was very strong and sad.
