A great suspenseful episode, one of the best of Season 2. Robert Walden plays the creepy mastermind of the crime, his second appearance on the show. James Carroll Jordan plays his smirking friend who was captured earlier on one of their burglaries. Some comedy is provided by their hulking partner who likes to dance to rock music with headphones. Tyne Daly makes her second appearance as a pregnant hostage. There is a lot of tension and a great ending to this one.

- QuizLook closely at the apartment building where Roy, Mark and Woody were plotting their plan. It's the same one as the swinging singles apartment building featured in The Rookies' "The Good Die Young".
- BlooperThis footage was first shown in "Tarnished Idol" from Season 1. In the scene, it's nighttime. Terry and Willie are in their cruiser and Willie looks up toward the sky. He starts talking about the high tide and fog and he and Terry start talking about it.
This same exact footage with Terry and Willie was shown again in Season 2's Time Lock.

Officer Willie Gillis: [Officers Mike Danko, Terry Webster and Willie Gillis are standing at the information desk in the precinct lobby. They are going over some paperwork; Willie asks Terry a question about Mrs Baker, the pregnant bank employee that was held hostage along with Terry and two other bank employees in the bank vault] By the way, how did you know that she really wasn't having labour pains?
Officer Terry Webster: [Terry looks up from the papers he'd been reading from and answers Willie's query] Well, I've been there before, man. I know about these things, you know; I come from a large family. I mean, I could tell she was in some pain, but... uh, I figured she was just scared.
[Terry's voice is gradually deepening and he is trying to appear nonchalant as he looks back at the papers he's holding. He's trying not to lose his composure, but as he looks at Willie and Mike, all three burst out laughing]
Officer Terry Webster: Well, actually, I wasn't all that sure...
Officer Willie Gillis: [Willie and Terry resume writing their reports] Yeah... that's right.
Officer Mike Danko: [Mike, leaning on the counter, looks over at Terry, with a sober expression] That was an incredible thing you did.
Lucille Baker: [the officers hear footsteps and turn to see Lt Ryker and Mrs Baker approaching them. Mrs Baker has her hand in the lieutenant's arm as they walk up. She addresses Terry specifically, with her hand outstretched toward him] Officer Webster?
Officer Terry Webster: [Terry shakes Mrs Baker's hand] Hi.
Lucille Baker: [Mrs Baker smiles at Terry in gratitude] Thank you.
Officer Terry Webster: [Terry looks back at her and nods before answering] You're welcome. And... it's 'Terry'.
Lucille Baker: [Mrs Baker looks into Terry's eyes and she's still smiling as she replies] Oh, yes, I know. That's my baby's name, too... for you.
Officer Terry Webster: [Terry is flattered that Mrs Baker is planning to name her baby after him. He nods slightly, then he smiles] Thank you. Uhhh, it'll work for both a boy and a girl, right?
Lucille Baker: [Mrs Baker is gazing at Terry intently and smiling widely at him] That's right.
[Mrs Baker is suddenly overcome with emotion and she leans up, kisses Terry on his left cheek and smiles at Mike and Willie. She then turns and walks away]
Officer Terry Webster: [Terry looks down for a second; he, too, is overcome with emotion. He looks up, then speaks in a low voice] Thank you.
Lt. Ryker: [a short silence comes, which is broken by Lt Ryker as he walks up to Terry] Haven't you forgotten something, Officer Webster?
Officer Terry Webster: [By now, Terry has regained his composure as he looks at the lieutenant] I don't think so, Lieutenant.
Lt. Ryker: [Lt Ryker holds up something in his hand, which he hands to Terry] Your bankbook and your paycheck.
Officer Terry Webster: [Terry takes his bank papers from Lt Ryker] I forgot something, Lieutenant.
Lt. Ryker: [Lt Ryker starts laughing] I can't imagine why!
[Lt Ryker walks away as Mike and Willie remain with Terry; they, too, are laughing]
